great potatoes for baking, size perfect and good value.

They are okay. But the ones they normally have are light and fluffy. These are nothing special.

But these all the time, biggest potatoes around I've seen in a long time , great taste n quality

The bag I bought has spoiled potatoes. Not only were some rotten on the outside but once I peeled the others thinking they were good, they weren't. I ended up with only 5 good potatoes of regular size out the 15lb jumbo bag.

I have purchased these potatoes from Sam’s a few times over the years, and every time I end up regretting it. There were only 3 GOOD potatoes in the bag. The rest were bruised beyond use, and several were rotten on the inside. I was able to salvage parts of some of them, but had to put 4 or 5 out of their misery. If I could post a picture, I would!

For large gatherings, we wash, wrap in foil, then bake a whole oven full. Take them out while they're hot, leave the foil on and wrap them in a towel and place them in a cooler to transport. They stay hot a long time. Great as a side or for a potato bar. Fun food...and inexpensive.

These potatoes are more expensive than at other grocery stores. I decided to try them because Sams usually has good quality produce. I ordered them in June for pickup due to COVID 19, so I did not see them before buying. They were big, evenly sized potatoes, but many of them had 'alligator' skin with grey or black spots underneath the peel. Many also had a brown spot in the middle of the potato. They are OK if you plan to peel and cut up the potato, but not for baking with the skin on. They should have been sold as Grade B utility potatoes at 1/3 the price. I will not buy potatoes at Sams again unless I come into the store and take a close look at them first. The shelf life was OK with only one or 2 going rotten in about 2 months.

Baking potatoes can be a frustrating experience. You get a 5lb bag and end up with one or two actual baking potatoes. Not in this bag! This bag is packed full of actual baking potatoes that are sizable, plush and are a real crowd pleaser for baked potato night! To get through them all, we use our spiralizer to make homemade hash browns, slice them for au-gratin potatoes and even sometimes make some homemade fresh fries. I bought two bags of these assuming that they were "Jumbo Bakers" as described on the suppliers website. The average size potato was less than 8 ounces, hardly jumbo (was serving 35 people and ended up only needing one bag). Worse yet when I contacted the supplier I was told "Unfortunately, there has been a shortage of the jumbo-sized potatoes", so they just took smaller potatoes and packaged them as Jumbo Bakers (Biggins). If I could I would give NO STARS.

Normally, I'd never write a review of a bag of potatoes, but I bought 15 lbs of potatoes and couldn't use a single one! They all looked acceptable on the outside, but the entire bag had rot. The. Entire. Bag. I couldn't even cut out the rot, or around it. There wasn't anything left when I tried!
