I have used the LTX M/S tire on my 4Runner since the first replacement set were installed. The "other" OEM tires were not worn out either. These are the smoothest, best wearing, quietest tires you can put on any SUV, period. I always recommend Michelins to my friends.

My mom is and over the road truck driver delivering camper trailers all over the country. Her 2008 Silverado 3500HD has nearly 550,000 miles on it. She is on her third set of Michelin - Michelin Defender LTX M/S. 3 Sets of 6 tires per set(18 tires) none of them have ever blown out. The least amount of miles she has gotten out of a set is 103,000 miles the most was 120,000 miles on the last set. These things perform and are well worth the investment.

Just very happy with tires. handles wet weather great. roads in fl when raining us to give me a problem b4 getting these. i highly rec. these. and i would purchase again!!! safety first. its funny but i always ck tires b4 driving any where just encase a flat or something..and i see my tires and said to myself self GOOD PURCHASE!! I have purchased Michelin Tires since the 1970's, everytime I have thought... hmmm, wonder if there is a better tire and purchased another brand... I paid for it up the b.... I'm reading all the bad reviews, so I will set a baseline here & now. I will definetly be back if these tires don't live up to the warranty. But, I can say all my Michelin Tires from the past exceded the warranty, my other car, a Celica, the Michelins have out lasted the warranty. The ride for the last 6 days have been very nice so far, just like always.

This is 2nd set of Michelin tires. The first set whined loudly and didn't have a sure flat fit on the road. (I did drive 800ish miles, did not improve) The warranty put a second set on. The second set rides better but they still whine. I would think for the price of Michelin tires now, that I could get a decent set. I got 55,000+ miles on the previous set I put on my Chevy trailblazer in 2010, And they were half the cost

I have had Michelin tires on my last 3 vehicles. I usually change tires at 70,000 miles but Michelin tread looks like it could go 100,000 or more. The last set I had put on had to be patched on 2 of the tires due to road debris causing a flat. never knew they had ever been patched, still had 40,000 miles put on them and then I sold the vehicle. I highly recommend Michelin tires since they never seem to lose their edge.

Purchased Defender LTX M/S for my 2016 Highlander in September, 2019. After 30,000 miles, I highly recommend. Great in snow, wet, dry conditions. Very secure on the road. Quiet! Low rolling friction which has increased gas mileage by 1 to 1 1/2 mpg. I expect to get 70K + tread wear.

I have had 2 sets of LTX M/S tires on 2 different vehicles and have loved them. Each time I switched from the tire that came on the vehicles to the LTX I experienced an immediate improvement in the ride comfort. I also have had excellent results with wear and performance. In fact I specifically put these on my current vehicle because of my prior experience and they did not let me down despite being a different size tire. They were just as good as before if not better. They have been on my current vehicle for over 50000 miles and are still producing outstanding results. I will continue to use these tires or perhaps the M/S2's in the future.

I've got 37 thousand miles on mine and plenty of tread left. The around town miles are pretty easy, but each weekend these tires see at least a hundred miles of Idaho back country dirt roads in the summer and plenty of snowy trips to the ski hill in the winter. A good bit of that is in 4WD, in places where you want the security of a high quality tire.

I chose this tire for my Suburban, 03 4Runner, 02 Tacoma and my 91 4x4 4Runner. The 91' 4runner has had about 20 Michelin tires (they don't last forever) during the 200,000 miles or so since I purchased it. The 10.5 x 31 x 15 radials have been beyond Death Valley in deep desert on rough dirt roads and have brought me safely home time and time again. I used to fear a blow out at 70 plus miles an hour on the freeways after an extreme workout on desert dirt roads and rocks, that not ever happened to date.
