I was already convinced to buy these tires. This set is better, and handles better than previous set of LTX I had a few years ago, and they performed extremely well. On previous set of tires, on a Yukon, my wife had a 'generator' trailer come off hitch ahead of her, on 6 lane interstate. Between the Michelin tires, Stabilitrak on Yukon and anti-lock brakes, she was able to maneuver from one side of highway to other, multiple times, coming down from 60mph, to avoid the erratic trailer.

After driving on Michelin LTXs for the past 12 years I can honestly say that no other tire comes close in wear, durability, traction, comfort, and minimal road noise. One time, I switched to a competitor's tire because it was rated higher in braking and in wet traction. That competitor's tire was rated for 60,000 miles and at 25,000 miles they had to be replaced due to wear. I have consistently gotten 60,000 miles out of a set of Michelin LTX's with rotations and balancing every 6,000-9,000 miles. There is no other tire manufacturer making a tire that is comparable to the LTX in longevity. The only area the LTX is slightly weak would be in muddy conditions, although driving in muddy condition is not an everyday occurrence. I will continue to buy Michelin LTX tires "because so much is riding on my tires". Thank you for making a superior product.

I bought these tires 2 months ago, seems good on dry and wet pavement. Waiting for the snow to fall and see how they perform. Tires ride nice and low to no road noise. I was really torn on what tires to buy for my Ford 150 Super Crew 4x4, glad I bought them so far.

One of our vehicles is a Buick Rainer CXL-V8, all wheel drive. The first 71,000 miles were on the "factory Michelins" with no problems. My wife travels with the Rainer for work, so wanted peace of mind for the next 70,000+ miles. We are now 40,000 miles into the new Michelins with no problems, a good ride and excellant wear. Two of our vehicles are over 105,000 miles, one with Michelins ( and extremely happy ) and one waiting for a good set of Michelins. The 3rd vehicle is at 215,000 miles, riding on its 3rd set of Michelin tires. The ONLY tire to My vehicles.

I am rating the LTX M/S2 tires that I replaced today (11/17/2016) with Michelin LTX A/T2 tires. I logged a total of 70,752 miles on those LTX M/S2 tires and received service from them for 5 years with no dry rot, no premature aging or premature wear. I could have logged another 3,000 miles on the ones I replaced today but decided to go ahead and install new ones for the winter. I have bought only Michelin tires (after negative experiences with other brands) since 1996. In fact, when I have purchased a new vehicle that wasn't equipped with Michelins, I would immediately replace them with Michelins.

The Michelin man probably doesn't want to hear this but the last set of LTX M/S 225 70R15 tires I got 128,000 miles out of them and when my dealer could not locate another set for my Ranger they got me 235 70R15 and I've got 90,000 on these tires and they should last easily as long as the first set. I drive as a regional courier in the Kansas City area and went through OEM tires, replacement tires from other manufacturers and I will always buy Michelin's from here on out!!!!!

This is the second set of these tires I have purchased for my 2002 Chevy Silverado. These tire have out performed any other tire I have used in the past. They wear very well, provide a smooth and quiet ride and perform quit well in the rain and snowy climate of northeast Ohio. I make it a point that I only purchase Michelin tires as replacement tires for all my vehicles. I highly recommend these tires to anybody. If your on the bubble about a purchase try these you will not be disappointed.

I purchased my first set of Michelin tires 20 years ago, and was so impressed I haven't considered any other tires since! The current tires on my truck have in excess of 50,000 miles and still look like they have close to 50% tread left and ride and handle as good as they ever did. Still the best tires money can buy!!

Have had direct experience with this particular tire since 2006 when they were supplied as original equipment on the Honda Ridgeline. Now as a retired import technician, I can honestly say that I have never seen a problem with these tires under normal driving conditions. With normal tire rotation, tire pressure checks, and correct wheel alignment, I have seen them last well past 130,000 kilometres before reaching the wear markers. They are a great tire for light duty trucks and SUV’s. I personally recommended and installed these tires to many customer vehicles with very positive results always. I can say with confidence that my recent set of improved LTX Defenders that I installed on my 2008 Honda Ridgeline have exceeded expectations. They are quiet, have great road feel, and improved grip in slippery conditions.

I love this tire, I am on my third set of the LTX's. I have 378K miles on my 1998 Blazer and the last set I got over 150K miles on. These are the best long mileage tires ever. The ride and handling are outstanding. I will always use Michelin on my vehicles.
