I replaced the OEM tires on my suburban with a set of Michelin LTX. The LTX tires were more expensive than a set of OEM tires, but the ride quality and lack of road noise made a huge difference in the vehicle. This set of Tires accumulated about 85,000 trouble free, quiet miles before being replaced. I did not notice a significant improvement in traction or an increase in mileage using these all season tires in either snow, rain or mud conditions. Tire wear was excellent and uniform over the life of the tire. If you are looking for a good all season long lasting tire that is quiet and reliable, look at a set of the Michelin LTX.

I was having trouble with left turns in wet conditions with our 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. The tires on the vehicle would not grip the pavement in this turn. This is the third set of tires for the vehicle and I no longer am having the car slip in wet conditions. I am in need of replacement tires on my Chevy Impala soon and will most likely use a Michelin for this vehicle as well.

Have been using various Michelin tires almost exclusively since the early 1970s. The few times I've purchased another brand, I regretted it very soon. In my opinion Michelin simply makes the best tires available at a reasonable price, which usually winds up being among the lowest cost per mile, even though a larger investment up front. I especially appreciate the real safety factors such as good stopping characteristics, good traction on slick roads, low propensity for hydroplaning.

Our vehicles (17+" tires) all have Michelin tires. Purchased smaller used vehcile (15") with non-Michelin but quickly forced to replace. Immediately had little or no road noise, tail-fishing or bumpy ride! The smaller tires are as excellent as their bigger "siblings"!!

I have a 1998 GMC Suburban. After I wore out the factory tires at @ 25,000 miles that came on this vehicle when I bought it new. I then decided to get Michelins, from past experience. I have over 180,000 miles on my truck. I am on my second set of Michelins and still going strong. I get a consistent 70,000 to 75,000+ on these tires. You do get what you pay for absolutely. My OEM tires on my Toyota Highlander still had about another 5,000 or so miles on them but as we were about to go on a road trip I thought it would be a good time to buy new and I'm glad I did. I went with the Michelins because I know that I can expect great performance and longevity. We drove from Florida to North Carolina in October, drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and beyond, totaling 2,500 miles. The Highlander handles great on the twists and turns of the parkway. One difference I noted compared to the old tires was that I felt we were part of the road rather than riding on top of it. The grip and feedback were fantastic. The only negative maybe was that I thought they were just a little high priced for tires made in Mexico but still, I was very happy with my purchase.

Have had Michelin on many vehicles over the past years, 2 weeks ago put new ones on my wifes suv and today getting new ones on my S 10 pick up. I like the wear, performance and overall constrution, you get what you pay for! There was no need to compare with other brands, my past experience and auto back ground makes the choise simple, Michelin!

Third set of the Defender LTX M/S tires on two diesel pickups used to tow approximately 15,000 # fifth wheels. They are quiet, great wet traction and decent in snow. These tires are not designed to routinely run up and down wet dirt/muddy roads, through fields or Upper Peninsula winters. Love these tires and that is why I am a repeat customer. As with any brand & model tire the vehicle must be in alignment to include the frame or there will be abnormal wear. As with any brand & model tire if the tires are not properly inflated there will be abnormal wear. Proper inflation does not mean pressuring the tire to the maximum number located on the sidewall either.

I purchased our Defenders for our 2015 F-250 Super Duty before leaving for our 2000 mile trip. The tires are noticeable quieter and has a better ride quality than the tires (non Michelin) that I replaced. So far I'm very pleased with them. I have never had a problem with any Michelin tire I've purchased.

Have bought Michelin tires for every car I owned. I bought these tires last week and drove on a short highway trip 3 days later. Horrible vibrations and they ride like a mack truck on constant potholes. The ride beat me to death and could not wait to get out of the vehicle. Loved my vehicle until I put these tires on the auto and regret this purchase already.
