I JUST FINISHED A FULL TRACK DAY IN MY SATURN SKY RACE CAR EQUIPPED WITH PILOT SUPER SPORTS. THESE TIRES HELD UP BETTER THAN ANY OTHER STREET TIRE I'VE EVER USED FOR TRACK. THEY WERE VERY PREDICTABLE AND HAD EXCELLENT GRIP, EVEN WHEN HOT. WITH A PROPER TRACK ALIGNMENT, THEY WEAR EXTREMELY EVEN. STARTING THE DAY, TREADWEAR WAS 9/32. BY THE END OF THE DAY, THEY WERE WORN TO 7/32 ALL THE WAY ACROSS. BY THE THIRD SESSION, I WAS DRIFTING CORNERS DUE TO THE LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE THESE TIRES GAVE ME. EXCELLENT TIRE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We chose the Pilot Super Sport tires based on the sales reps recommendation and our good experience with Michelin's in the past. The original tires on our 2012 G37 were very noisy, rough riding and pulled left or right with steering wheel input. The new Super Sports are extremely quiet and smooth riding (for a high performance tire) and have exceptional grip! While these tires are new, we are confident that we will enjoy them.

I've got these on a 2003 BMW 330i, which previously had a set of Pilot Sport 2's that lasted for 22,000 miles. I have about 13,000 miles on the PSS and the tread seems to be wearing well - still has 8/32 depth minimum left. I drive in a spirited manner but never on a track. Pros: Awesome grip in the dry and wet. Pretty quiet for a high performance summer tire. Responsive, but not to the point of feeling darty. Cons: A little pricier than the average high performance summer tire. Could maybe be a little quieter and absorb bumps better - but hey, it's a high performance tire, not a touring tire. Overall, an excellent choice for those who enjoy driving.

I'm very happy with my super sports. I have a 2007 Porsche GT3 that I drive on the street as well as the track and these tires do an exceptional job at both. They are much quieter that the RE-11's that I had on the car before the PSS's. The grip is more consistent on track days even if it's hot out. I've only had them on the car for a few months but I'm expecting them to last much longer than any other tire worth putting on the car so it's a win-win! Buy with confidence!

Just put the Super Sports on my 2005 Porsche Boxster and I am absolutely beyond impressed! These new tires already handle better, ride better, look better, and sound better than my original Pilot Sports ever did. The only downfall was I had to wait 2 months on back order until they finally arrived. However, it was most certainly worth the wait.

This is the very best street tire ever made. Wet or dry, there is no street tire which sticks better, is more perfectly round, or wears more evenly. Do not expect 30k miles: I get about 15k miles. I do not do burnouts or other silly things. I am a racer, and an instructor of road racing and high performance driving, and have done these things for many decades. I'm also a certified master tech...and I know tires VERY well. Once you've driven on these tires, you really can't bring yourself to buy anything less....I am on my fifth set, and the only time I take them off my car is when winter comes. Exactly as advertised, these tires will bring you to a dead stop if you try using them in the snow. But they'll make you a hero in the wet or dry!

I now have 10k miles on these tires, which I cannot rotate due to different size front/rear, and they still have a lot of tread remaining. I am expecting 20-25k out of these tires. Granted, I don't drive my car that hard (Lexus IS350C). These tires are like glue for your car. They can take interstate off ramps at speeds that make me feel uneasy with no slipping or squealing. They stay plastered to the road in heavy thrunderstorms and I have yet to hydroplane. The other reviews are true...If you are looking for a performance tire, this is it. I will definitely replace these with another set when the time comes.

I put these tires on my Shelby with less than 200 miles on the odometer. The factory Pilot Sport Cup 2’s were awesome but I wanted something a little more street friendly. Over 6000 miles on them right now and they look brand new! They are performance tires and they certainly do not disappoint! Looking forward to buying my next set of Michelins: Pilot 4S in 295/35R19 and 305/35R19 - Are you listening, Michelin? Please help us Shelby owners and produce your FANTASTIC 4S in 295/35R19, 305/35R19, 305/30R19, and 315/30R19! Thank you!

Bought these Super Sport tires for my 2008 Cadillac CTS to replace the original Pilot tires. Absolute love these tires!! They stick to the road like glue, I baven't been able to get them to break loose yet and I have been trying. I don't see myself buying another brand or type of tire for any of my sports cars ever again.

In my opinion these are the best tires in both wet and dry conditions! Better wet weather traction then the various "all season" tires I have used, and fantastic dry weather cornering and handling. I have also had excellent tread wear for a performance tire. This tire is a winner!!
