I bought the Pilot Super Sports to replace the stock run flats on my BMW 335i coupe. Huge improvement. I can feel how the car is gripping the road now. I tracked the car with the run flats before moving to the super sports and what an amazing difference. Tires ae a bit quieter as well.

Currently have 7,000 miles on these on a C6 ZR1, no descernible tread wear yet to speak of! Inside shoulders look great. Alignment is super important! I have more than enough traction above 50-55 degrees. More into spring and summer temperatures, these tires really shine. Next to no road noise. I previously had the non run flat versions from factory on my previous M3 and M4, nothing but praise for those applications.

I have had the Michelin Super Sport tires on my Corvette C6 Z06 for 12,000 miles in 18 inch and 19 inch sizes. I'm very pleased with the tires cornering improvement, better tire grip, low road noise, greater high speed stability, excellent tire wear and overall quality. I drive my Z06 on long road trips and aggressive mountain drives. The Michelin PSS tires perform flawlessly. I would definitely buy these tires for my Corvette or my other cars in the future. I have a 2017 Cadillac ATS-V with 12,750 miles on it. The tires have awesome grip but the ride is harsh. The tires have to be changed (told by my Cadillac dealer) from everyday driving- not 1 burnout (I know). Is this it for the life of the tire? I thought it would last a little longer- also what’s up with the cracking in the tires?? I live in Los Angeles and it gets hot but should I buy another brand?

I was impressed with the Pilot Super Sports on my BMW M6 so I bought them for my wife's Nissan 350Z when it came time for replacement of the OEM tires. The car was absolutely transformed! Already a quick handler, turn in became more precise, lateral grip eyeball bending and ride much quieter and smoother. Neither of these cars goes out in winter weather, so the limitations of a tire like this on driving in the snow are irrelevant. I now have Michelins on all 4 of my cars and am completely satisfied. The Pilot SS is the best street tire I have ever experienced.

Have had tires for over 10,000 miles, the tread is still outstanding even with aggressive daily driving. Outstanding perfomance in wet and dry conditions. They handle much better in heavy downpores than the all-season tires I previously used. Highly recommended for any sporty driver.

Finally ditched the OEM runflats off my 2011 BMW Z4. These tires have such great lateral grip, on/off ramps will bring a smile. Much quieter than previous tires and of course, gone is that awful juddering across uneven surfaces when turning. Looking forward to finally feeling the car handle as it was designed.

Ive waited a month before I decided to give this review so it could be accurate as possible. Long eniough to to get a good feel for the new tire and not too long so I dont remember the feel of the old tires I use to have. I have 20 in. racing rims on my 5 series BMW and the larger rims decreased the ride quality. After extensive research I chose the Super Sports. Ride quality is a little better but not much of a difference. Tractions about the same. The major difference is the grip you feel in a turn. The 3000s I would feel a slight roll and the SUPER SPORTS handle the perfect. Also, road noise was reduced with the SUPER SPORTS.

Recently bought a set of Pilot Super Sports for my 07 Porsche 911 Turbo. Great handling, quiet ride, low noise and wearing vey well. Exceeded my expectations in all ways. Now I understand what all the buzz is about. If you own a high performance car, these tires will transform your car. It was a great choice, very happy!

I bought these a couple weeks ago, and they're everything people cracked them up to be! They are the perfect tire for anybody looking for that half step down from full slicks, while still maintaining that quiet and fuel efficient expectation we all have for a daily driver. I've had passengers in the car that notice the difference too, but around corners you can really feel that sidewall being reinforced and designed for those high speed maneuvers. The stock tires on my Golf R were grippy but the you could feel the sidewall start to let go at high G's and that made you lose confidence. These are the most amazing tire for the summers!
