I can’t count how many sets of Michelin tire I have purchased. Bought these for a Ford Transit Connect Titanium wagon. Spent numerous hours sound proofing it. Van is light and has basic suspension. Therefore asked for the best tire, irrespective of price, that would provide a smooth and quite ride, while providing good winter traction. The ride in now rough/stiff. Despite all the sound proofing, the road/tire noise is very pronounced, especially though the front struts. There is now a vibration that comes through the steering wheel, particularly at slower speeds, and to add insult to injury, the gas mileage is off a solid 10%. They do provide good winter traction, but so do the Michelin tires I put on my daughters car this summer, without all the downsides.

A few days later the temperatures dropped to mid 20's but the tire stayed soft and the drastic thermal decrease did not affect its performance. The dry road performance is stunning.

I really dislike these tires. After putting about 2000 miles on them, I've lost about 10% fuel economy (from MXM4). They also transmit a noticeable vibration through the steering wheel, most prevalent on smooth pavement. Finally, I don't feel confident in their lateral grip when pushed a little. The only positive I can come up with is I am surprised at the low noise level considering the lousy road feel. Hopefully they'll redeem themselves in snowy conditions. I definitely would have gone with the MXM4 again (4 stars, winter grip a little wanting) but they were not available when I needed tires (nor are they available now to take advantage of the satisfaction guarantee).

Bought a set of 4 for my suv and these are by far the best tires I’ve ever owned. We’ve recently gotten about 40cm of snow cumulatively over the past 3 days and the tires just go through it like nothing. Braking is excellent and traction is day and night compared to my anything else I’ve owned.

This is my third set of CrossClimate's and the grip and handling is such a huge upgrade from the stock tires that come on the vehicles. It's always a little stark because as tires get to the end of their life, you feel them lose their grip in wet and dry situations, but they roll very easy which leads to the best mileage you'll ever get in a vehicle. When swapping to these you instantly notice the grip on turns, how straight the car stays even when tires slightly spin in the rain, and the significantly shorter stopping distance. I typically drop about 4-5 mph in small sedans upon initial switching, but the safety advantages make driving so much easier on my mind! We've had these on a 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback, a 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan, and now on my 2023 VW Jetta. The improved performance and safety was felt immediately when switching from all the vehicles previous tires, including another Michelin in the van. So while I wish they rolled a little better for gas mileage, I still have to give them 5 stars for overall performance and safety! *They are also very quiet!
