Excellent Performance

I have no complaints with these tires after 2 winters and over 15,000 miles of use. The road noise is as good or better than my previous tires. Fuel economy is the same as before. Excellent snow/ice/winter performance for all season tires. Very pleased overall, and I will be considering these in the future as my other vehicles need tires.

Great Overall Performance!

This is my first set of CrossClimate 2s, and I have been very impressed with performance - dry and wet traction, and have proven to be very quiet. I have about 2,500 miles on the tires so far, so we'll see how the wear, but I anticipate that they'll be just fine.

Good tires, nice road handling, but too noisy.

Bought the CrossClimate2 in 2023 and used them less than a month because although they had good road handling, they were very noisy, rough and did not provide a smooth ride. I replaced them with the Pilot Sport 4S and am satisfied, but nothing ever came close to the Premier A/S I purchased in 2019. The Premier A/S were the best ever in ALL aspects 10/10! Unfortunately Michelin does not make the Premier A/S anymore for cars.

Great wet traction, quiet, comfortable ride

Purchased these tires for my 2012 Camry LE 4 Cyl based on the recommendations of the Tire Shop and Michelin as a replacement to the Michelin Premier tires that wore out quicker than expected. Prior to purchasing, I was concerned about road noise given the tire's aggressive tread design. Thankfully looks are deceiving, as the tires are VERY quiet, extremely comfortable, and soak up road imperfections with ease. They really grip the road very well and are AMAZING in wet weather as this was the reason why I went for these tires. If these last a long time I will be very happy.

CrossClimate 2 - Excellent tires

Decided on these for my 2015 Ford Edge Titanium Awd, 245 55 19, and I'm very happy that I did. I was concerned about the tread pattern being noisy but they're quiet. I also read reviews where gas milage dropped, but I'm getting 2mpg more with them. I noticed stopping distance has increased as well as acceleration. I usually buy a mid grade tire but glad I spent a little extra for these. Hope I'm just as impressed with their traction in snow this winter.

One of the best tires I've had on multiple vehicles!

An excellent all-season or winter changeup tire for almost any application where rain, ice, and moderate snow are factors (a legitimate 'snowflake', 3PMSF) while maintaining confidence at high speeds, and enhancing certain performance characteristics such as cornering and braking. I just ordered the CrossClimate2 to replace a pair of CrossClimate+ on my [FWD] Mazda, not needing to consider another tire, as I recently chose a set of CrossClimate2 on my [AWD] Lexus IS for the new winter set and I could not be happier with them. You do need to be attentive and work them in properly during the break-in period, as they can be a little loose during that break-in. If you do break them in properly you will have a better chance of being a satisfied Customer, this is true with just about ANY tire. I suspect some of the complaints around these either do not understand that break-in approach and/or received poor advice - or no advice at all, from their Installers. As far as gas mileage and road noise comments go I would disregard those as the performance and safety of these tires far exceed any inconvenience in those areas, I've had dozens of different tires on similar vehicles and these are neither loud nor inefficient gas-wise, long-term. I gained back my MPG and then some with these compared to multiple other brands. My only complaint of sorts would be the tire/tread life, where I have just over 20k on a pair of CrossClimate+ after approximately 2 years. That is very low mileage-wise, however,, they have been great through everything nature has thrown at them and even though they have 3-4/32nd left out of the 9/32nds when new, I'm replacing them early for safety concerns instead of trying to squeeze another season or three out of them, which I probably could, but better safe than sorry. My family drives these cars daily and I'm more comfortable with them having more tread. I am expecting more life out of the CrossClimate2 with 10/32nds new... I will likely post a separate performance-centric review for the CrossClimate2 experience on the Lexus, as I only have a few hundred miles on that vehicle, but so far the results exceed expectations, providing a very stable and consistent ride, better than any of the other tires I've ever had on that Lexus. If anything the tires amplify the driving experience on my vehicles and sometimes that means revealing suspension issues and other inconsistencies in their feedback, the type of precise feedback that less dynamic and responsive tires do not provide. This is another likely limitation of understanding on the part of some CrossClimate Owners.

The only tire I trust for my family

Review of the CrossClimate 2 tires. They have impressive versatility, performance, and reliability across multiple family vehicles. Below are my key takeaways: 1. All-Weather Performance: The CrossClimate 2 tires’ certification for hybrid and snow performance makes them a solid choice for year-round use, especially for those who would otherwise need to switch between seasonal tires. 2. Reliable Grip: These tires excel in providing firm traction, with no hydroplaning issues even in heavy rain, and they handle snowy conditions well—though for those in extremely snowy regions, dedicated snow tires might still be a better option. 3. Improved Ride Quality: Compared to OEM tires, the CrossClimate 2 provides a smoother and more controlled ride. They also offer aggressive cornering capabilities without sacrificing comfort, and they are not noisy at all. 4. Versatile Across Vehicles: They’ve performed reliably on a Lexus RX450h, Honda Passport Sport, and Mercury Milan, showing that these tires adapt well to our different vehicle types. 5. Fuel Efficiency Boost: Running the tires 3-5 psi above the manufacturer’s recommendation has improved my fuel economy, a helpful tip for hybrid drivers in particular. The CrossClimate 2 tires are a premium, dependable tire that inspires safety and confidence for year-round use while providing peace of mind for the safety-conscious drivers. The only tire I trust for my family.

Smooth and Quiet

After six months on a mid-size SUV, the tires are smooth, quiet, while retaining good handling and winter traction performance. The only drawback is rolling resistance seems higher than OEM tires. Rolling resistance affects gas mileage, but the impact is unknown.
