I used nothing but ...

I used nothing but Michelin tires on my 1999 Acura 3.2 TL over it's 165,000 miles. This is my third set of Michelin tires and the car drives and just as it did when new. The handling and ride with the Primacy is exactly what I was looking for when I purchased them as the replacement for the prior Michelin set that had been discontinued. I certainly will buy another set when I need a replacemnet. That might be a while as the mileage I have gotten on my Michelin tires has been between 60,000 and 80,000 miles.

Pretty darn good tires

Put on my Honda Minivan..... Mixed highway and city miles.... Now have 45,000 miles on them and they seem hard as a rock. Initially, nice ride quality, low noise, low road noise transmissions, good stick, good stick in winter. After about 20k, (2nd winter), they got much more slippery, noticed the transmitted road noise form ridng in the rougher parts of the highway where the trucks roughen up the road is now higher. Ride seemed a bit rougher. Now at 45k, they're rocks. I can feel the paint stripes when I change lanes, can't even drive in truck lanes. They still stick like glue in dry weather, a little less in wet. Ride is noisy (for long distances, if I don't need the room, I will drive ANY other car). Not sure how they will fare this winter...may have to replace...but I still have another 25k work of tread on them, so might try and make it through the winter (if we don't get too much snow days in the Pac NW).... Overall, I'd consider buying them again, but not keep them so long (or look at something with a bit more ride quality longevity...).

Excellent tires

Recently replaced OEM tires on my 2007 Acura TSX with a new set of these and couldn't be happier. I do mostly highway driving and these things are quiet. Handling has been great in both dry and wet conditions. No issues in the little bit of winter weather as well.

Pilot vs. Primacy

I needed to replace a pair of Pilots on my Accord coupe that I had for 6 years-70k miles and was disappointed to hear that they were discontinued for my vehicle. I have only driven on Michelins and I always get a minimum of 50k miles on my tires. My car always ran super quiet and now that I have the new Primacy tires on the back I am hearing that, "Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo!" Sound when driving 40 miles or over. I love the tires, super solid and great for the environment, but I'm hoping we can get to the root of the problem. Not sure if it is the tires, but it started the day I got them. I will be stopping back by the tire shop.

Need to replace at 35,000!

I have the Toyota manufacturer installed original tires with my brand new '14 Camry hybrid. I drive combo of surface and highway @ 50miles each day in mild So Cal, maintenance on schedule, yet at 35k miles I'm told my tires need to be replaced - half of the advertised 60k!

These tires were ...

These tires were purchased for safety. For driving at high speed. The test reports at Consumer Reports are given high regard here as the ONLY independent review of tires. Importance is attached to stopping in the wet, resistance to aquaplaning, and handling. I do a lot of long distance, therefore high speed, travel, and tire which will give the best protection from those key hazards are most important. Low noise helps in reducing stress in very long drives.

31,000 a reading needing replacement

Bought a 2016 ES300h in September 2016. Don't drive this car much, odometer at slightly over 31k miles. I expected much more as this was the original fitment. Tires are already needing replacement. How is that possible when warranty is 60k miles. That's unacceptable for a luxury car.

Time is the Greatest Measure of Quality

We have a 2004 Superbeetle Turbo. It came equipt with Michelin tires on it. After 64000 miles and 9 years the tires still had great tread. I wanted to replace them with Michelin tires with the same specs as the originals. The new MX series tires we installed last year give us the same great ride, cornering, handling on wet and dry roads and all around performance at any speed that the original tires our Beetle came with. I would not have any other brand on our vehicle.

Very best tires for the money

This is my third set of michelin tires. They have no tire noise, and very little tire noise when they are almost wore out. They have the best ride of any tire on the market. I'm a Mercedes Benz Master tech of 30 years. I would never use any tire but Michelin on my personal vehicles.

Still Evaluating

Nearly all highway miles; ie) some short trips but total mileage vrs. highway renders short trips insignificant. Carefully driven older Saab 9-5, a car that has problems with tire wear as it ages. Tires have been rotated twice. No significant degradation. Tire pressure kept at 40 psi. Ride seems to suffer at this pressure. Handling is very good both wet and dry. Ride is more harsh than I expected, with older, lower quality tires that were replaced, being more comfortable. This may be due to tire pressure increase to 40 psi from (presumed) 30 psi on old tires.
