I replaced my Primacy MXV4 tire on my 2009 Hyundai Azera With Premier AS. My prior 3 sets of Primacy's were the best tire I ever purchased.. Bad mistake to buy the Premier tires. Hope you don't make the same mistake I made because of the following. The ride very rough even after 6,000 miles. They are very noisy and especially on smooth asphalt the have singing sound. Balance is a problem. In the morning when the are cold you feel like you are riding over a road with thousands of holes. After the tires heat up they are still out of balance. I had the tires balanced and in less that 2 week same thing. Buyer beware. Don't buy..

My Honda Pilot EX-L standard equipped with (4) 235/60/18 MXV4 tires. My 2 front tires has worn out at around 30000 miles and need to be replaced. I have used the MXV4 tires on different vehicles before which has the same problems. It is very disappointed.

I bought a brand-new Japanese passenger car from a local Southern California car dealership in April 2016. The mileage of the car was about 33,200 miles as of March 5, 2021. It has three OEM Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires and one replacement tire of the same brand and type. Per the car dealership's service report dated March 5, 2021, all four tires had tread depth measurements of 4/32" of less (3/32"). In the United States, new tires typically come with 10/32” or 11/32” tread depths. My four tires' tread depths have been already worn off 70 percent in a mileage of 33,200 miles (55% of Michelin claimed 60,000 mile tread warranty). A tire should not wear to the point of less than < 4/32” in only 55% of the claimed mile tread warrantly! The Primacy MXV4 tires on my car definitely did not meet my expectation in terms of mileage and ruined my impression of Michelin as a top-notch tire manufacturer.

Tires are so much of the driving experience, they effect ride, noise, handling and breaking, so after years of buying cheap tires in hopes they would be just as good I started buy Michelin. There's just no better tire out there! Just put this new set on today and it changed the whole car! Well done!

I have a Lexus LS400, year 2000. I bought a set of Michelin Primacy MXV4s in a 225/60R/16 in 2007. It is now October 2015. There is still legal tread (3/32) after 92K miles but winter is coming up and I need a new set. Unfortunately the MXV4 is being discontinued and I can't get them. So sad, such a great tire. Smooth, good gas mileage, good grip, quiet.. I got the free rotation and balance for the life of the tire, I had a fire-year alignment and I check the tire pressures regularly. It paid off. I rate these tires as very excellent.

These tires came on my 2014 Camry Hybrid. I got 130,000 KM from them and can't understand why other reviewers got so much less. When it was finally time for a new set, there was no question that I would choose the same tires. In addition to being smooth, reasonably quiet and secure (note, I don't do any driving in the snow), they helped me get much better mileage than the car itself promised. Although they are very expensive, I feel they are a great investment I'm only sorry that Michelin is discontinuing them.

Just over 30,000 miles and the tires are basically shot. Won't even pass inspection. 2 alignments done on the car during that time to make sure that they would wear evenly,but they still didn't make it. I will contact Michelin to pursue warranty, but who knows. This is my 5th set of Michelins, and may be my last. Too bad the quality isn't what it used to be. 2007 Toyota Camry, mixed highway and city driving in Florida.

Tires on my 2012 Honda Pilot Touring and the dealer says getting close to needing new tires. Have less than 35,000 miles on original equipment tires and do NOT pull anything. Mostly in town driving. 3/32 on two tires and 4/32 on two other tires. Worry about getting thru snow and ice in Northern Colorado with these tires.

I have 49,000 miles on these tires that are warrantied for 60,000 miles. They need replacement now. I have rotated them every 5,000 miles at the dealer. Bought the vehicle, a 2017 Toyota Camry, new with these tires. They should have lasted longer. Very disappointed. The performance is fair, treadwear is poor, and noise is fair at best. I don't know if the warranty covers original equipment tires. Would not recommend.

My Michelins I had on my 2102 Honda Odyssey had 56,000 miles and the tread was still good enough for another 10,000 miles, but after 4 years of age, severe tire rot had set in causing me to replace them before the tread wore out. I have in the past gotten between 60, and 80,000 miles on sets of similar Michelins, and tire rot was never an issue. I would expect Michelins to go 5-6 years before tire rot would become an issue. I will watch my new Michelins I just had installed. Should tire rot set in again within 4 years, I will probably switch to another brand next time.
