Never a thought of hydroplaning. These tires hold the wet road better than most tires hold on a dry surface. Also very good on MN snow and ice, but not quite as good as the Alpin snow tires for severe conditions. I would highly recommend these as performance all-season tires that you can trust in wet or snowy conditions.

My honda accord 2017 was inspected in July and 2 of my tires that came with the car were rated a 3 and I was told they would not pass next year. They are 60,000 mile tires that were rotated and kept in alignment. It looks like soft rubber to me - they are worn evenly. Please advise.

I own a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T. This is the third set of tires I've had on the car since owning it brand new. The other two brands prior to getting my Primacy MXV4s were top of the line and about the same cost in price. However, these prior tires did not perform as well in wet or dry weather as this set of Michelins I picked up. I have more confidence in driving in wet weather, and haven't hydroplaned yet while going normal speed limits in the rain. I hydroplaned almost everytime I drove with the prior 2 brands. These tires give a very comfortable, smooth, luxurious, and quiet ride. I learned that the right tires make a huge difference in performance of my vehicle. I've put on about 15,000 miles and there is plenty of life left in every tire. I can't say I've experienced anything negative with the Primacy MXV4s at all. When these tires are fully worn, I plan to buy another set just like it.

Tires came with my new vehicle purchase, a popular 4WD SUV. Drove them in suburban conditions, just under 10k/yr. After 2 years, tread were worn and tires needed replacing despite regular rotation. Agree with other review, only got 20k out of the 60k warranty on these!

These tires are on my wife's 2000 Camry and they have done us well. Lasted 6 years with no problems on her 30-mile RT journey to work twice a week and numerous trips down to Florida. They still have a fair amount of thread on them, but winter is coming so I plan to replace them in order to make sure her tires are most effective on the ice/snow.

I contacted a Michelin technician for recommendation for tire replacement. I informed him of my current tire equipment and he advised the Michelin Primacy MXV4. The Primacy has a 60K tread life, however, provide a rough ride, and notice smallest imperfections on roadways. Not a distinctive looking tire, not as classy, a much different profile than original equipment. Tires are not black, very brown looking, must scrub and add tire dressing to look black. I take much pride in the appearance of my car; these tires do not meet my expectations as a superior product .

I have only about 5000 miles on these tires and have been very pleased so far. They still look as good as they day they were purchased in terms of tread wear. They handle very well and are good in the rain and on dry pavement. Overall i am very satisfied with the tires.

I rated these tired previously (in dry handling conditions) and found them to be above average, but well shy of some of true performance tires. Afterwards, I did get to sample this tires performance in poor weather including wet/snow. Wet handling is very predictable, while snow was handling was outstanding. In the NE we had a large snowfall (30") and these tires kept my car (2005 Honda Accord V6) going where most cars had simply failed. As a commuter tire, this tires will handle EVERYTHING you throw at it within reason and I strongly recommend them for a daily driver. From a safety perspective (in regards to my car and my person), I just can't recommend this product enough. The extra money was well spent. As a post script, this is the quietest tire I have ever owned.

I purchased a used 2004 Honda Accord. The car seemed to be noisey, unlike a Honda. My best guess were the tires. I did some research online and found wonderful reviews on the Michelin Primacy and so purchased 4. Best investment. My car runs quiet & smooth couldn't be happier. In fact, we put new Michelin's on my husbands SUV.

I have been driving on Michelin tires since 1971 when I made my first switch. I took a few moments and added up the number of Michelins I have purchased since then and came up with about 66 tires. I actually try to buy cars with factory Michelin equipped tires. if my car of choice did not come with Michelins the transformation regarding ride and handling when switched has always been remarkable. My current MXV4's then are no surprise as they have helped my current unremarkable car handle at it's optimum ability. I wonder why the car builders bother using other brands of tires that hinder the overall capabilities of the car.
