Excellant road tires

I've been using Michelin tires for 30 years and do not even consider any other. We live in Colorado Springs where we recently had an unusual 12" to 18" snowfall in just a few hours while we were at a north end restaurant. There was no snow when we went in, so were surprised when we came out into a ranging blizzard. My car is a front wheel drive Chrysler convertible and we had little trouble getting home through six miles of unplowed streets. We have experience similar conditions with lesser snow falls but on longer trips of 300 miles to Grand Junction across the mountains with no problems at all. Only one time in the last 30 years I had another brand tire that had just the right tread grooves to pick up every nail, screw, bolt, and even scrap metal the car was near resulting in flat tires. After about 12 flats I changed back to Michelins and no more flats. I love my Michelin tires no matter which model it has been. They are all superior to other makes.

Michelin Primacy & Subaru Forester

Michelin Primacy MXV4 & my 2011 Subaru Forester are a matched pair. Tires that hug the road and a boxer engine that runs smooth as silk make taking to the highway an experience to look forward to and enjoy. Time after time I just never get tired of hitting the road with this set up. I see many road trips in our future.

Great ride most of the time except in snow

I have rotated my tires every 5000 miles and at 31000 my dealer tells me to start looking for another set. Here in the Ozarks you cannot get the mileage the tires are rated for because of all of the curves and hills. This tire is great on flat roads and on the curves but not so great in the winter. Had trouble navigating hills and starting from stops on snowy days.

Worth the money

I commute 100 miles daily in an AWD vehicle weighing about 4,300 lbs. I had used Michelin tires religiously over the past 35 years, but had gotten away from them and tried a few other brands. That said, my last set of tires (not Michelin) on this car lasted 118,000 miles and were still 4-5/32ds of tread depth. I returned to Michelins, because my last set of tires became very loud, and didn't have much grip in the wet (snow was fine). They are much quieter, and are a dream in the rain and are wearing fine. My SUV and pickup will also be wearing Michelins again!

In comparison to all ...

In comparison to all other tires that I have used through the years, this tire has exceeded all of my expectations. I am 85 years old and have owned twenty various models of mini-vans equipped with various brands of tires. After this many years, this is the first time that I have used the Michelin brand and I find that these are totally superior to all other tires that I have used.

New Tires

This is the 2nd (not including my original set when I bought it new) set of Michelin tires that I’ve bought on my Lexus ES350 and I really like them. I just wish they would last a little longer. I only got about 48,000 miles on them when my dealer said they were getting so worn that I could hydroplane when it’s raining. I rotate them every 5,000 miles. I would still recommend them though because of the excellent ride I experience with them.

Sad to see these MXV4 being discontinued..hard 2 find..

I'm pleased with overall performance although they do need to be driven several miles before they get smooth. I used to think the balance of the tire was the issue but after at the latest HUNTER, I accepted the fact that the tire design itself is the issue. My 99' all wheel drive Audi A8 likes the tire and so do I. This particular Michelin on this Audi works better than everything else I've had on the car (152K) to this time. Excellent control in ALL weather. Audi A8 would most likely do a good job with any tire but these Michelins on this Audi are a kick =wear very well and make me concerned about the driver on my bumper being able to stop

Second Time around

Purchased 2007 Camry with 27k and at 55K purchased a set of Primacy MXV4. Could have gotten more out of the old Michelins except that the State where I lived milled two highways I had to use in getting to a Hospital where I had treatments or 170 miles RT. I put on about 6K. The old ones got worn down to the indicator bar and being pleased with the way that they performed I bought another set. The specs indicate that the Tires are rated above 100mph. I rarely go above 80 MPH. One of my first set of tires were Michelin back in the late 60's when I went to a tire dealer who had taken a tubed set off a Mercades Benz. They wore like Iron and in the years to follow never went back to a predominant Nylon Tire. The tires are smooth riding, cost more, but are well worth it. Rick

great tire

We purchased a set(4) primacy MXV4 tires before we went on a long trip and that date of purchase was 22 Sep. 2011.The performance of those tires have been excellent,as they are very good on wet roads. These tires now have 46,300 miles of use and still have a lot of tread life remaining.I have been very pleased with these tires and will replace them with Michelin tires when necessary.

Our Michelin tires (Jeep ...

Our Michelin tires (Jeep Grand Cherokee, Honda Accord and Volvo) are an excellent all around tire for all weather conditions and young drivers who lack driving experience. Being a mom of two teenage drivers these tires have proven to be quiet smooth and handle very well in the driving circumstance they are driven in; they have never let us down. I am very satisfied with the tires and after research, two young drivers and one accident my family will always have Michelin tires The cost might be a bit higher than other tires, but we truly feel you get what you pay for. Knowing children temptation to speed and drive aggressively Im always looking for reliability and, most importantly, safety and Michelin tires have provided that to me. These tires are proven to last!!!!
