Improved refinement

Placed new Primacy MXV4 on 96 Jaguar XJ6. This is the 3rd set of tires I have put on this car, but the first set of "expensive" tires. Gas milage check is unchanged. Handling and precision is improved. The others were nice when new, but not as nice as these. My friend has a 99 XJ8 which always seemed more refined than my XJ6. He has always used the best Michelin available for his car and finally convinced me to spend more up front because they last longer and end up being cheeper over time. I rebuilt the front end a few months ago and was confident that I would get the most from the Primacy's. Now the car is just as nice to drive on the highway as his XJ8. I never would have known how quiet this car could be if not for the Primacy's. It rained today and traction was excellent. It was lot to spend on an old car with a lot of miles, but now the car feels 5 years younger so I got a lot in return.

Lowest cost per mile

I have had several sets of MXV4 tires and their predecessors all the way back to the original Michelin X. I do mostly highway driving and typically get at least 100,000 miles from each set. They are quiet and smooth riding, they stay concentric and have never needed rebalancing. Traction and handling are more than adequate but aquaplaning can be an issue towards the end of the tire's life. I have only had one flat on the road when a large bolt punctured the tread, pretty good in over a million miles of driving. I don't consider any other tire for my vehicles.

Best tires I have ever had on my accord

I have four of these on my 2006 honda accord hybrid. They are far better than the original michelins that came with this car in riding comfort and traction in wet weather. The only slight downside is that they grip so well that my mileage has gone down about .5-1 mpg. However, that is a small tradeoff to pay for the increased feeling of security I feel on the road!

Great Ride, Quiet, Improved Handling ...

Original tires on my 2008 Honda Civic coupe were getting noisy and needed to be replaced. My research placed the Primacy MXV4 in the top three for a combination of handling, low noise, ride comfort. Because I have always been satisfied with Michelin tires, I gave them a shot. All I can say is ... these tires PERFORM! Around town, on the freeway, rain or shine, the MXV4s live up to their high ratings.

LOVE 'EM!

This is our 2nd set of these tires for our car. We love them, and plan to replace the tires on our other vehicle with the same. They lasteed a long time, always had great traction and were problem free! Our car is small and lightweight. Apparently this causes excess wear and loss of traction. These tires were much better than the original factory tires. Will buy them again and again! Convinced my son to put them on his small car and he also loves them. I'd recommend them to everybody!!

poor mileage

My honda accord 2017 was inspected in July and 2 of my tires that came with the car were rated a 3 and I was told they would not pass next year. They are 60,000 mile tires that were rotated and kept in alignment. It looks like soft rubber to me - they are worn evenly. Please advise.

Why Change Horses?

Just replaced (4) MXV4 Energy tires, (original equipment on 2007 Honda Accord). Got 73,000 miles!! on them but the weather/ozone cracking on the sidewalls is becoming noticeable after 5 years plus. Tires were manufactured in April 07 and the tread is still great! So good in fact that we kept two of them and put them on the front of a Kia Optima that doesn't get driven as much. These tires were 50K warranty tires so we were very pleased. Replaced them with Primacy MXV4 touring tires that have a 60K warranty. A better rated tire? For those that swear they don't get this kind of performance outta Michelin tires, remember: tire rotation at every other oil change, and an alignment every 12-18 months or as necessary. If you go over a curb or a pothole...have your alignment checked!!

Best tires I ever bought!

Amidst all of the positive reviews online, I decided to give the Primacy MXV4's a try! Boy, am I glad I did! Best tires I have ever purchased, hands down! Great road feel; and I am confident, now that my daughter will be going away for graduate school, that she will be safer on the road.

More miles less bucks!

With 40,000 miles and counting, my primacy will last for the full term of it's rating. The secret, correct tire pressure checked every other week. Not forgetting proper wheel balancing and vehicle alignment. With Michelin tires you get the confidence that you and your passengers are safe because of the quality and performance built in each tire.

The Real Deal!

These tires are living up to the hype. From day one I could feel the difference in the ride of my car. This is my fourth set of tires in five years. I drive about 30,000 spirited miles a year and my first 3 sets of tires all died after 40,000. I've got over 20k on these bad boys and they are showing minimal wear. All the reviews on the michelin primacy MXV4 said you would get 70k-80k out of the tires. And from what I've experienced thus far, my car will have around 200k on it when I buy my next set of michelins.
