Its been 3 months since I had a set of 4 Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires installed on my green 1997 ford taurus. I call it my super little green mobile. I have compared my tires to others and visually I can easily see the huge difference in the craftsmanship of Michelin versus the others. The ride after 3 months of use is spectacular. Experienced different conditions and no matter what the weather the primacy MXV4 tires get an A+ in my book. cornering, braking, wet,dry,fuel economy,stopping,slow,fast,etc they are fantastic. To the dedicated folks at Michelin and of course the Michelin Man himself, keep up the great work and be happy that you guys are the best!!!

I purchased 4 Michelin Privacy tires for my daughters car because i worried about her driving back and forth to work. I knew with a trusted product like these Michelin tires i would have peace of mind and it was for this reason that i purchased them.

The MXV4s are used on a 2005 Honda Accord. Primary driving is rural, curvy, roads with periodic interstate trips. I purchased the car used and immediately replaced the installed Hokum tires with MXV4s. Those lasted over 60,000 miles and were replaced at 4/32 tread depth. They retained balance for the entire time. The MXV4 is the BEST Accord tire IMHO.

I have these tires on my 2007 Honda Accord V6 EX. This my second set of Primacy MXV4 and there is not a better tire. Ride is perfect, handling is amazing and warranty is perfect. The last set lasted me over 70,000 miles before the ride got a little rougher. You need to spend the little extra money for the best they are well worth it.

I know nothing about tires, and never knew that there would be such a noticeable difference when I got new tires. I'm a girl and don't really pay attention to car stuff , but I was amazed at what a noticeable difference my new Michelins made. Quieter - not as much road noise. Smooth - my car sails down the freeway! I even noticed a difference in the rain. I felt like my car held to the road better and didn't hydroplane at all. I'm sold. I Love the Michelin Man

Bought these tires on 05/18/12. I have put 40,100 miles on them as of 10/25/14. They are worn pretty good. Don't think I will make the 60,000 limited warranty. Traveled three vacation trips from PA to FL., the rest of the mileage was just around home.The tires are definitely quieter, had a lot less road noise. Great on wet roads, but not snow covered roads. Probably would not buy again for that reason.

I have three cars all using the same tires. My cars are not expensive ones but I want the best tires on them. I am up to my third set on one car (this one I write the review on), next month the third set on another, and on my second set on the newest car. In all cases they handle great, never had any issue with any tire ever. They have great treadwear rating compared to others, but where I live I get a little over 1/2 the rating because the roads are rough and they use a lot of glass and other recycled materials in the asphalt. Also by the time I almost need tires the Ozone and weather cracking takes it toll after the 5 years or so that I have the tires. They do not meet the moderate or severe MAST cracking standards for warranty replacement. So pretty much because I do not drive on tires to the minimum standards I never get to get any prorated replacement. I rather be safe and always have excellent tires on my cars, so I replace them early. This is not unique to Michelin I might add. But all I know is that these are great tires in rain, snow, ice etc for my purposes. They also based on their manufacturing method come more balanced that other brands because they are not two tire pieces glued together. So the tires are so naturally balanced.

I have 30,000 miles on these tires and they only have about 7 to 10,000 miles left. Is this 60,000 mile guarantee just hype? The tires are rotated every 5k and are wearing evenly. By the what do you get if they don't last 60k. Can't find that out on the Michlin site.

I replaced two tires on my car to match the two good tires from another manufacture, to keep the tires even, worst mistake I could make. I finally had to take all four tires off and replaced them with the Primacy tires. I could not, nor my wife believe the difference. The ride was unbelievable soomth and quite, no vibration, handling felt like I could really feel the road with out the harshness of the other tires, along with outstanding braking. I could not recommend a better tire. I grew up in my business with Michelins and I will not get another tire again unless it's a Michelin, I really paid the price by not getting them to start with. By far the best tire I could purchase for our BMW 325ci.

These were the OEM tires for 2010 Nissan Altima . Replaced in early 2015 at 48,000 miles with tread life left on them. I don't wait till they are at 2/32. This model was replaced by the Premier A/S but I wanted and found these MXV4 tires again. Didn't need to read reviews- I knew I wanted them again. Found them and bought them. I have now put over 50,000 miles on this set in 4 and a half years. Yet again they have at least 4/32, but with winter coming I will replace them soon. So I'm not sure about the 60,000 mile rating. I wouldn't risk keeping them another year. I drive in hellhole NYC where the roads simply suck. Potholes and roads that have not been repaved in literally over 20 years. Also I drive all over the northeast from Maine to Virginia in all types of weather putting on about 10k per year. For all the recent reviews not liking this tire, maybe it is because no dealer should be putting these tires on a new car. Unless I'm wrong they were probably manufactured at LEAST five years ago! Michelin had announce in 2014 they were being discontinued. Simply put the car dealers doing this are irresponsible.Think about where and how the tires were stored before being put on a new vehicle! They really have to be degraded after sitting around for so long. The manufacture date is on the tire - check it out before you buy any tire. Anyway, these have been great tires first time around and second as well. I wish they still made them. I'll end up buying the Premier when I get new tires. The Michelin's I've owned preciously have all been great.
