Use this base for all my pasta dishes. Lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, stuffed shells, etc. I use this with all my herbs and sometimes add other tomato based paste or diced to change the texture. I also add extra veggies depending on the recipe as well. Great price, and the flavor is one that can’t be found with other sauces.

Prego Italian traditional sauce is just a no fuss tomato sauce that can go with just about any pasta dish. This works for me as a vegetarian. It's not expensive and is usually in stock at my local grocery store. I usually keep one or two jars on hand.

It's obviously not as good as what you can make from scratch, but if you are in a hurry this pasta sauce is adequate enough. And it's usually one of the cheapest ones on the shelf, so that's why I end up grabbing it. I do prefer it over ragu, though.

My family absolutely loves spaghetti! The only sauce I will use is the Prego Traditional Italian Sauce ! It’s the perfect consistency! It also is savory and not too sweet nor is it too bitter! It’s hard to find the right combination of the two! That’s why I stick with Prego Traditional Italian Sauce!

This is my favorite sauce to use in spaghetti and lasagna. I actually also use this sauce for homemade pizzas. It is absolutely amazing. I like to get the original cause I like to season it myself, but I have tried some of the other ones and they’re pretty good too. I’m just personally a fan of the original, this is my go to brand and kind of sauce because you can’t go wrong with it. You can use it for a lot of different recipes and pastas overall always taste amazing.

I’ve tried most of the other prego pasta sauces, but the traditional is my favorite. I find that a lot of spaghetti sauces are too sweet, but this one is not. I can also add my own seasonings and ingredients to make my own recipe, so it is good both as a base and alone.

I have made my own sauce for years and years. I learned from an Italian chef and adjusted that recipe for my taste. This comes very close to what I make, so I have no issue keeping some jars in the pantry for those winter months when fresh tomatoes are not available.

For those days coming home from a long day and want some pasta or just lazy to make homemade sauce, this is an affordable, life saving (literally from hunger) sauce to have on hand for a quick meal. I usually add extra garlic and onion for extra flavor before using. Great staple product!

For jarred, ready-made out-of-the-jar pasta sauce, it's got to be Prego. I've tied other brands, and they just don't measure up. I definitely prefer the non-chunky kind, and just plain traditional is the best, I think. They also make good pizza sauce

I love this sauce. It's great priced, great quality, and great tasting. I purchase this all the time. It's great. Just add some pasta, some meat, and this sauce, and you got yourself a great little pasta dinner. I would definitely recommend this, and the price you can't beat.
