We all love it!

My children are aged nearly 2, 4 and 6 years and they all love the Alligators and use them in different ways. The nearly 2 year old plays with them as 'just' alligators, he practices pulling them apart and pushing them back together, making up funny coloured versions or matching colours. My 4 year old matches the letters, colours and can recognise the letters from his name. My 6 year old can put them in alphabetical order. We have also made up our own game with the Alligators. Lots of fun to be had. Very well made and easy to store too. We were sent the Alligators for review purposes.

Super Frugal Stephanie Approved!

Pre-school has been a fun journey so far and my daughter comes up everyday talking about new things and of course a million questions. Her most recent question was the difference in lowercase and uppercase letters. I thought the Snap n Learn® Alphabet Alligatorsnofollow would be perfect to show her and help differentiate. She caught up pretty quick matching and creating all of the alligators. I liked that they were two sided and have a great container to store them in when not in use. Learning Resources is our go to learning toy line and we enjoy sharing their products with our readers. They have helped our daughter work on so many different learning tasks and overcome many obstacles from colors, letters, shapes and more. Their products are creative, effective and fun. A toddler wants to have fun and when they are having fun they are learning and taking in everything. Learning Resources allows for just that and i am pleased to recommend adding them to your holiday shopping list for the little learners in your life!

little different than I thought

Cute, but I didn't realize that there are 2 different letters on one animal in addition to the capital and lower case.

Grandson will love these!

Fun way to learn the alphabet; applying hand eye coordination in the process. Great toy to stimulate both thought process and physical abilities.

Fun Open Ended Learning Toy

The Alphabet Alligators is a great set of colorful alligator heads and tails. Each piece has a capital and lower case letter that the child is supposed to match up. There is a total of 13 heads and 13 tails which allows for 2 letters per match (one on each side of the alligator.) Each match is color coded to aid in easier match making. I like that I can say the letter or sound for our 3 year old and practice matching the capital with the lower case but I can also use this set with older children (we also have a 6 and 9 year old) by saying a word and they find the beginning sound and match them. The only improvement I would like to see in this set is for each letter to have its own alligator so I could also have our children line up the ABC's and to allow even more options when I make up games. *I received a sample in exchange for my honest blog post.

Fun Toddler Learning

There are 13 brightly colored alligators. Each alligator has a capital letter and a lowercase letter on either the head or tail section. Each alligator snaps together and apart easily. They are double sided so there is a letter on each side of the alligator. They can be used to match up the letters (capital to lowercase). They can also be used for color matching, fine motor skills, or making a pattern. They are made from a thick plastic. The small piece that is used for the alligators to attach to each other is surprisingly softer. These are easy for my toddler to use. He mostly likes to put them together and take them apart. He has not gotten to the matching stage yet. I love the learning value of these fun alphabet alligators. They are colorful, fun, and interesting for my toddler. Even my 1st grader enjoys playing with them. I like that this comes with a reusable container to keep them all in. Makes it easier to keep them all together. The only thing I don't like is that they are double sided so there are only 13 with 2 letters for each. It would be nice if there were one for each letter. Although it would be more difficult to keep track of them all if there were more. I was provided these in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and not influenced. Missing two letter and have extras of others

I just bought this at the MiAEYC early childhood conference for my classroom, and I was very excited for my 2.5yr olds to use this. The first child I show it to, gets to the letter K and tells me there isn't a K. And as we continue on through the alphabet, I notice there isn't an X either. Instead of those letter, I have 2 duplicates. Since I got this at a conference, I dont know how to go about trying to get the missing letters. The kids do love this product, but I'm not happy about what's missing.
