Pastrami time!

I finally did it.. I thawed one out and then brined and cured it, for four days, tossed it in the smoker with a couple pork butts, some brats.. all brined and cured as well.. and even a pan of paprika for 10 hours at 200f with mesquite and whiskey oak chips.. with 3 more hours in a Dutch oven at 325, to finish it off… Mouth watering good and then some!

Perfect for our Christmas dinner

I bought this for our Christmas dinner - it was delicious! Definitely bigger/more than we needed. I think if I were to buy it again, I would butcher it into a smaller roast and then make steaks with the other part. (I found a YouTube video that showed how to butcher one of these roasts)

Convenience of steaks

I started buying this Member's Mark sirloin tip for meal prep, and honestly, it's one of the best deals at Sam's. The meat is really good quality — tender, flavorful, and cooks up great on the grill or stovetop. I usually cut it into about 10–15 steaks depending on how thick I slice them, and it ends up saving me a ton of money compared to buying individual steaks or eating out. I season and portion everything for the week, freeze a few packs, and it makes meal prep so much easier. Definitely recommend this if you like having good steak on hand without paying restaurant prices.

A great buy!

Originally I wanted to buy hamburger and was pricing beef for an on-line order. I give my dog, Pepper, fresh meat but I didn't like that I had to get the 80/20 percent meat, he had a weight problem and I wanted to cut down on fat. I discovered the Sirloin Tip in a case and saw it was less expensive that the hamburger I was looking at and decided to choose it even hoping it would be a good buy. There was very little fat, some hard to chew parts, but not for Pepper. The meat was great for the dog, he enjoys every bit, but it is also great for me too. It if delicious and with careful carving you get a great piece of meat. I cut the roasts up into two and a half pound portions for Pepper, and me, and several 4-5 lb roasts for family gatherings. I will be reordering but not for awhile, its going to last a long time.

Not a very tasty cut of meat

I was really hoping for tender and delicious, but it was tough and bland.

Terrible store

Terrible store, no customer service, mindless associates. Tell them about the molded bread, they give money back. Then don't remove the product from the sales floor. I bought another, opened the outer package to verify no mold, but when I arrived home my daughter opened it to eat. Mold was present under the packaging. REMOVE THESE MOLDED PACKAGES. No where else have I experienced this kind of foolishness at a club. We have shopped Sams clubs across the southwest. Arizona, New Mexico, Utah. None are comparable to this store/warehouse. It's like they just want you to go away, they have other customers to rip off.

Very disappointed.

Bought a case of what was called sirloin tips. Case had beef knuckle stenciled on it also. If meat is slow cooked it is very tender but also very fatty. There is an incredible amount of fat that you have to pick through and throw away. We have been through 8-10 pieces and all have been the same way. Will not buy again.

Bought this a few times and it's been expired

I've been buying this chunk of meat for quite a while, but in my last three visits twice, the meat smell like it was rotten. I will stop buying this meat even though it's a really good deal, but I've lost my money be aware when buying this even though the expired date is correct but when you open the meat, meat is rotten with a bad smell. I've been buying this at the Allentown,PA location. I wish there was a way that Sams could reimburse me for my lost.

1st bad experience in Sam's

I have bought sirloin roasts before to cut into steaks at other locations, this one was old and smelled bad. The guy in the meat cutting area was rude and ignoring all customers. Very disappointed since I lost a lot of money on that roast.
