I finally did it.. I thawed one out and then brined and cured it, for four days, tossed it in the smoker with a couple pork butts, some brats.. all brined and cured as well.. and even a pan of paprika for 10 hours at 200f with mesquite and whiskey oak chips.. with 3 more hours in a Dutch oven at 325, to finish it off… Mouth watering good and then some!

Originally I wanted to buy hamburger and was pricing beef for an on-line order. I give my dog, Pepper, fresh meat but I didn't like that I had to get the 80/20 percent meat, he had a weight problem and I wanted to cut down on fat. I discovered the Sirloin Tip in a case and saw it was less expensive that the hamburger I was looking at and decided to choose it even hoping it would be a good buy. There was very little fat, some hard to chew parts, but not for Pepper. The meat was great for the dog, he enjoys every bit, but it is also great for me too. It if delicious and with careful carving you get a great piece of meat. I cut the roasts up into two and a half pound portions for Pepper, and me, and several 4-5 lb roasts for family gatherings. I will be reordering but not for awhile, its going to last a long time.

The roasts were fresh and flavorful We prepared them for my wife's retirement celebration.

I've bought this cut of meat several times. I'm still learning the process for cutting into consistent steaks, however my family is very happy when they get to enjoy grilled sirloin so they indulge my learning. The knuckle from Sams is always consistent with very little waste. I usually have about 6 thick cut steaks, some thin cuts, stew meat and a variety for very high quality burger! Sometimes they ask me to grind most of package into burger at that rate we are having ground steak or "chopped steak" due to how lean and meaty this tastes. The cut has very little gristle or fat resulting in a finished product that is not at all like the ground chuck in the tubes.

I bought this case. Total weight was 61.7 pounds for $205 before taxes. Very little waste product after slicing for steaks/stew/roasts/fajita meat. Great buy and highly recommend. In the case there were 6 cryovac sealed packages.

recently bought a case of these and have tried one 'roast' so far. im very pleased w the yield, size, taste and diversity of preparation...roasted, soup meat, pan fried and four thick slices re-frozen as 'steaks'. excellent buy for price and yield. hopefully this will prove true through the rest of the case. overall very tender. the only negative is its very bloody in the sealed pkg.

Excellent deal for a great flavored meat

Today I got this bulk Sirloin Tio in bulk. Today's date is 9/18/2022, and the box shows that it was packed on August 25, 2022. Fresh? I have not even opened the individual packaging yet to check it out. What's going on here. When I call my local Sam's Club "Fresh Meat and Deli" department no one is picking up yet. Is it really 24 days old, and "fresh"; this is a new world in Amerika.
