Awesome Indoor Grill. Thick cut pork steaks were no problem for the Foodi Grill. They came out juicy and evenly cooked. We have cooked chicken, sirloin steaks, vegetables on this indoor grill and all cooked evenly and never dry!!!

This thing is huge. We purchased online. It arrived on our doorstep with no overbox, so the photos of what was in box in perfect view. We opened box, saw how big it was and took it back to store for credit. I had no place to store this and the size prevented me from leaving on counter. So we can't speak to performance.

This is my 2nd ninja foodie purchase. I am a mom is boys and never can cook food fast enough. So I felt I needed a 2nd ninja and looked at many options. After looking at many options, I purchased this because... 1. It has the grill option 2. Size 3. Price especially at sams I would like to say I am extremely satisfied with my purchase the grill is amazing. Made hot dogs and chicken. Tastes just like you would grill outside. Compared to other indoor grills, no smoke and no unnecessary use of water and fan. No smoke and delicious food, satisfied boys! Worth the investment

Best of all worlds, I like verifying my food temp myself, and don't like extra doodads and gimmicks that are prone to failure. Great food that is healthier is a plus also. All that said, BE AWARE! THIS IS NOT SUPPORTED ON THE NINJA WEBSITE! There are no results for the BG500A model. The closest is a FG551 with the temp probe, so don't expect support. Great quality and innovation Ninja, but you flunk the support test. I love the ease of use and the size is awesome, but lack of support is worrisome.

I was so happy to get this XL grill after having the air fryer with the pressure cooker lid that did not air fry enough for my family at one time. There are 2 flaws in this product. The top of the grill should have been coated or made with the same material as the grill grate and pans because it is very difficult to clean and accumulates grease. The screen that covers the heating element is also very difficult to clean it never became silver again after the 1st use. I am concerned that these 2 things over time may lead to a grease fire.

Loving it!

We bought this in December and it has been great for us. We read several reviews about the grill smoking, that the food sticks, that it takes too long to heat up or that there is a weird smell. We've had none of these problems. We used virgin olive oil and have had no smoking or sticking problems. Though it does take a bit to heat up, we use this time to finish prepping the food so we're not waiting on the grill. We've also had no weird smells from the grill. Overall it's been a great buy for us.

So far I have grilled; skinless Turkey breast, pork loin, burgers and NY Strip steaks. All came out with a beautiful sear and perfectly done. I allow the grill plate etc to completely cool before Hand Washing, everything washed up with ease. Having no issue with anything and love that I can grill inside all year long. Have not tried any other function because I basically wanted to replace another type of indoor grill. This has surpassed my expectations! The machine is a bit louder than expected but you will adjust once you have used it a few times. After a few uses, you will figure your timing out to your likeness of meat temperatures. The booklet helps a lot!

I got the smaller one before but decided to upgrade to this larger one. This is a perfect size for 4-6 people, saves time and can cook lots of different dishes at the same time. It is also easy to clean and heats up fast, which is perfect for fast prep time for dinner. The only downside is you cannot cook a whole chicken because it's not tall enough, we would have to use our other Ninja air fryer. Other than that, this is great for steak, ribs, fish, and other dishes that are flatter in terms of shape.

I'll be honest - I was hesitant about getting the grill. We already have an air fryer, so I was worried we wouldn't use the Ninja Foodi enough to justify it. But we use it almost every day. The air fryer component is a great size - it can prepare potato wedges/French fries/etc. perfectly. The grill works with the Ninja Foodi open or closed, so it's great for low attention cooking or BBQ grilling. I've made all types of vegetables, tofu, pancakes, dumplings, etc. and everything has come out perfectly. My husband loves it for grilling burgers and hot dogs while he tail gates. Such a fun piece of equipment. Highly recommend!
