Not as good in any winter snow or ice driving conditions as the I-2 or I-3. Rolling resistance (fuel economy) is as good or better than OEM all season tires on my Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Michelin X-Ice Snow Tire is a great winter tire. The traction and handling in the snow and ice is absolutely tremendous. And surprisingly, for a snow or winter tire, they are relatively quiet. I would highly recommend.

Great Tire! I have used a lot of other products that don't compare. They are well worth investing in. The road noise inside the vehicle is amazing. They are sooo quiet. I am use to snow tires being very loud. These are not. Road traction is great, driving through deep snow is impressive. Really enjoy. These are my second new set. I got 4 winter seasons out of my first set. I run high mileage so I was impressed to get 4 seasons out them. Will continue to by Michelin. Worth it!!

I recently switched to Michelin X-Ice tires for my electric vehicle, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. They handle beautifully in all winter conditions — whether it's icy back roads, slushy intersections, or packed snow. The traction is solid and predictable, and braking feels secure even in challenging situations. My EV's instant torque can be tough on tires in the winter, but the X-Ice grips so well that acceleration remains smooth and stable. Another big advantage is how quiet they are. Since EVs don't have engine noise, tire sound becomes more noticeable, and I was pleasantly surprised by how refined these feel on the road. They also seem to have low rolling resistance, so I haven't noticed any major impact on range. After several weeks of mixed winter driving, I can confidently say the Michelin X-Ice tires live up to their reputation. They provide excellent safety and comfort without sacrificing efficiency — exactly what an EV driver needs in a winter tire.

I have found the tire treads have worn down faster than other tire brand I have used in the past. I only used the tires during winter season. Getting through snow they are good. But on ice they aren’t so good. Bridgestone blizzard tires I had in the past were amazing on ice. In winter time up in Canada here I would prefer traction then getting though snow

I purchased my first all electric car, a Hyundai Ionic 6, and wanted to ensure that I had the best possible tire for the winter roads. The Michelin X-Ice Snow tires were an excellent choice as I had comfortable travels with confidence on winter roads here in Nova Scotia where we regularly have snow, slush and ice. After a full winter’s travel on the tires I checked the tread pattern and see very minimal wear. I hit several of the multitude of terrible potholes in the pavement and did not suffer any damage to the tires while there were many others blowing tires on the same roads. I am very happy either the design, durability and strength of the tires. T HR weight of the car was not an issue with the tires and I am very happy with the car and its ride on the Michelin tires.

A great winter tire that provides exceptional grip on ice and pulls you though snowy roads with confidence. Excellent stopping ability on slippery roads. As for durability hard to determine as have only used for one winter but expect to get many more from them if advertisements are an indicator. Overall a great tire for the price which by the way is steeper than other line of winter tires on the market.

Great tire, but a bit on the pricier side of winter tires probably because of the reputation and advertising. Tires are very quiet, and grip well in most conditions, including ice. I would not recommend them for deep snow though. It depends on what type of winter conditions they are driven in. If there is not a great deal of heavy snow, they are super. If there are many heavy snow falls, then maybe a tire with deeper groves and sipes.

I have 59 years experience driving through Canadian winters, particularly the last 45 years living in Ottawa, which is well known for its frequent periods of freezing rain. My Michelin X-Ice tires have the best traction on ice of any tire I have ever owned.

Excellent composed tire in the ice and snow at the beginning of winter. Very predictable at the limit of traction out of the corners in icy slushy conditions. Waiting to see how they perform in the snow this winter so I can compare with the Scandinavian brand I normally purchase for the past few winters.
