It was delicious but didn't have the strawberries on top as pictured. It only had an inner strawberry jam. There was also no chocolate wafer things. It was just white icing with strawberry jam in the middle. The cake was definitely soaked in milk like it was supposed to be though and that made it worth it even with it being not as advertised.

I ordered this online for pickup for a birthday party. It was not at all like the picture. Cake was only about 2 inches tall and had no strawberries. The flavor was good, but it was not worth the money! Had I not been left empty handed for the birthday party, I would have returned it for a refund.

Definitely pick this up a day before event so interior can thaw. Must be refrigerated. Everyone enjoyed this one. Not a cake that stays well for day after for leftovers and doesn’t hold up to a lot of traveling after it’s thawed. Absolutely scrumptious.

Great for the price. Cake is soaked through, filled with custard and strawberry compote. The non dairy whipped icing is a bit too much. Just scrape it off and the cake will taste better. It’s my go to cake for when I’m on a budget and feeding a crowd. Must refrigerate!

These were tasty, but we paid extra to get the "strawberry filling", and there was no "filling". When I asked about it, they said that there was just strawberry flavoring added ('infused") into the icing. If I would have known that, I wouldn't have bought them.

This cake was delicious and was a big hit at our Cinco de Mayo party. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.

The cake is good, just too sweet for my liking. My husband whom it was for loved it though. There's is also a jam filling, again not my thing but my husband loved it.

i bought this for my daughters birthday on January 8th and it was topped with strawberries and little chocolate disc's, the strawberry filling was so delicious. My parents just brought it over for family dinner and the topping is now caramel (honestly not a big deal) but that strawberry filling is now fake tasting and awful. i am so disappointed.

I am curious about the rationale behind altering the recipe for a product that consistently demonstrates strong sales performance.
