The cake was frozen. It had already happened to me once, two years ago but I wanted to give it another chance and guess what? Yes you should buy this. It’s light and refreshing not heavy at all. It tastes amazing. The chopped pecans on the out side are just the perfect touch. The strawberries and whipped cream on top are the perfect touch and just what this cake needed. This will be my go to for every summer party. It was a hit at the party I took it to last.

This cake is my absolute favorite cake!! It is so rich and creamy and the strawberry filling doesn’t taste medicinal! I feel like it’s smaller now than what we got last year. But that’s not surprising anymore. The tase of the cake is the same. I would recommend.

I did not care for this cake. I only ate one piece of it and the rest went to waste. There was not much flavor and it was dry on top and soggy on the bottom. The strawberries were not sweet. I didn't like the taste of the whipped cream or the nuts decorating the outside.I won't be buying this one again.

Beautiful presentation but still tastes like the best bakery made cake ever purchased. I have purchased these in the past but this one tasted even better. My suggestion is to make sure all the strawberries are the same size on top. Merely for looks. The frosting is like clouds it’s so soft and creamy but not too sweet. Excellent.

This cake was so badly made that it caused a damper on my party. The peanuts may have been expired or set out for a long time that you could smell the stalness before you took a bite. Cream and chocolate had water droplets on it when we picked it up. Cake was not baked to quality. It was lopsided and skimped on quantity too. When you went to cut it the cake slid everywhere due to the dampness.

We purchased this cake for my son’s graduation party. It was not only stunning but delicious. One of the highlights from the party. I still have family talking about this cake! Hopefully this one continues to be available as it is now one we will immediately pick first!

This is the third time I have purchased this cake from Sam’s Club, Alpharetta, GA. The purchase was for the Manager of Lucky’s Burger & Grill’s Birthday on Thursday, 8/30. The previous 2 other purchases were also for a Birthday Lunch gathering, first time for the Owner’s Birthday, the second ,8/14, was for a couples Birthday, 8/30, for the Manager’s Birthday. Everyone raves on these cakes. The second purchase, 8/14, the cake was moist and delicious. Unfortunately, the first cake that was cut, in my opinion, the cake portion of the cake was dry. I asked others there opinion. They we fine with it. But, since I purchased it, I’m posting this. Probably my mistake. As I was in a hurry, I picked one from the first row, WRONG. Second, I didn’t check the dates on the label, Wrong. Try them, post your thoughts .

The strawberries were running and smooshing while the body of the cake was collapsing. I had ordered it for delivery three days in advance and had expected a freshly made cake, but the cake was already 2-3 days old when it was delivered. I had to take it back.

This cake was delicious. It was light and not too sweet. It is definitely a celebration cake. It’s made to be either eaten immediately or refrigerated quickly. I’ve wanted to try this cake since I saw it featured in the Christmas circular and it did not disappoint.
