The cake was frozen. It had already happened to me once, two years ago but I wanted to give it another chance and guess what? This is one of the BEST tasting cakes I EVER had. It is not a traditional Tres Leches cake, but the quality of this cake really stands out ! The ingredients are so fresh right down to the biggest and sweetest strawberries EVER ! I couldn't wait to write this review, EVERYONE at our Christmas gathering was saying how delicious the cake was and asked where it came from . PLEASE do yourself a favor and buy this cake.I will DEFINATELY be buying this cake for all our special occations. Thank you Sam's club for this quality product.

A delicious choice from the bakery department! Besides the cake looking beautiful on the outside, the inside is moist and filled with creamy layers of a light whipped strawberry filling! What a nice surprise to enjoy a cake without a sweet, sugary frosting but instead topped with a light, creamy topping, fresh strawberries and a touch of chocolate! This cake was enjoyed by all the guests!

The first one we purchased was delicious. We bought another in September to take to our daughter’s home for a football game and it was terrible. The inside of the cake was wet, not moist like it was meant to be. Tried another in November and it was wet inside also. Gave it one more try in December and it was wet inside. These are not made in store and I think they are frosting them before they thaw out completely and trapping too much moisture with the frosting.

There have been some changes to this cake, in my opinion not changes to the better. The dark chocolate shards and strawberries that once decorated the rim are gone. There also seems to be less of the strawberry filling, enough so that it just doesn't have much taste. It remains supremely moist, but unfortunately that's about all that commends the product.

It use to be so delicious, even though the cake dough should be soaked in syrup this time the dough was soggy/undercooked cake. The icing also didn't taste the same as before and very thin layered that you couldn't enjoy it. I will not buy it again!!

Delicious cake! And excellent service from Amber at the North Little Rock store. The only reason for 4 stars is the photo showed a cake with strawberries, and it had none IRL. Amber gave me tips on decorating it with fresh strawberries I bought separately.

Oh it wasn’t like on the picture at all And it tasted badI asked where is my strawberries on my cake and they say they didn’t have them if they didn’t have the ingredients they should make my cake and didn’t taste Right and I call they you can bring it back then I shop online for pick up order because I didn’t want to go inside because a lot of people don’t wear face mask

Beautiful presentation but still tastes like the best bakery made cake ever purchased. I have purchased these in the past but this one tasted even better. My suggestion is to make sure all the strawberries are the same size on top. Merely for looks. The frosting is like clouds it’s so soft and creamy but not too sweet. Excellent.

I was a little apprehensive about trying this cake, but it didn’t upset. Though it is not a traditional tres leches cake, it was moist, flavorful, and the tress peaches mix did not run from the bottom. We celebrated Father’s Day with this cake and everyone enjoyed it.
