The celebration cake was good. However, I wanted the dark chocolate cake. Sam’s Club staff informed me that the 7 layer dark chocolate cake is seasonal. Too bad!!!!!! I have read other comments of disappointment about this club policy of limiting the chocolate cake. Hopefully Club senior management will revisit this concern and bring back the dark chocolate cake!!!

The tres leches style cake with strawberry filling was a big hit and favorite at birthday celebration. The sponge cake was very moist and strawberry filling fresh, not jam. This is one of the best tasting cakes I have had including cakes ordered from bakeries. Would buy again to serve at any occasion.

This is the third time I have purchased this cake from Sam’s Club, Alpharetta, GA. The purchase was for the Manager of Lucky’s Burger & Grill’s Birthday on Thursday, 8/30. The previous 2 other purchases were also for a Birthday Lunch gathering, first time for the Owner’s Birthday, the second ,8/14, was for a couples Birthday, 8/30, for the Manager’s Birthday. Everyone raves on these cakes. The second purchase, 8/14, the cake was moist and delicious. Unfortunately, the first cake that was cut, in my opinion, the cake portion of the cake was dry. I asked others there opinion. They we fine with it. But, since I purchased it, I’m posting this. Probably my mistake. As I was in a hurry, I picked one from the first row, WRONG. Second, I didn’t check the dates on the label, Wrong. Try them, post your thoughts .

Genuinely one of the best tres leches cakes I've ever had and the strawberry filling helps give a great contrast to the rest of the cake!! I've bought this cake 3x for family events with picky dessert eaters and always have people going for 2nd slices! Very moist and would recommend having same day its cut for best flavor!

This cake was delicious. It was light and not too sweet. It is definitely a celebration cake. It’s made to be either eaten immediately or refrigerated quickly. I’ve wanted to try this cake since I saw it featured in the Christmas circular and it did not disappoint.

We purchased this cake for my son’s graduation party. It was not only stunning but delicious. One of the highlights from the party. I still have family talking about this cake! Hopefully this one continues to be available as it is now one we will immediately pick first!

I ordered a Tres Leches cake for my son's birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! I am very thankful to the bakery staff for their help. I requested a customized cake that was delicious but not too sweet, and they made it perfectly. Everyone loved the cake! Thank you so much for making my son's birthday extra special. Fantastic cake! I brought this to work for a going away and it was a hit! Comments I received were that people were happy that it was not soaking wet like they thought a tres leches cake would be. Also, that the sweetness wasn’t too sweet, and that it tastes fresh. The strawberries were excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this again!

Overall OK but not as good as it looked. It didn't really taste like strawberry and the jam layer was very thin. I was expecting fresh strawberries in the cake. The description also says that the nuts are pecans, it was 100% soggy walnuts. Wouldn't purchase again.

Our favorite birthday cake. Just a perfect mixture of textures and tastes. It's very light. The walnuts just complete this experience. Really the perfect cake for a birthday party since no one can possibly find anything to complain about it. Just caters to everyone's tastebuds. Light, fluffy, and refreshing.
