It was ALRIGHT. The chocolate sweated, the cake slipped and made a mess trying to cut.. I wouldn’t recommend the cake. If you want tres leches go to a real Mexican bakery! And yes, I kept it in the fridge until we cut it, I am Mexican descent.

Cake was beautiful, however, it was frozen solid. We bought it for a 90th Birthday celebration and we were disappointed that we had to let the cake thaw for hours before we could finally cut and serve it.

The cake was very delicious. I would give it a five star rating but it did not have strawberries or any fruit. I had to purchase the strawberries myself.

This tres leches cake is alright. There's a strong lack of tasty "milk". I'm sure this is done to last longer in the selves, but it undermines what a tres leches cake is.

Soggy cake, collapsed in middle. Nobody wanted to eat it. Took lid off container and liquid spilled out all over the counter. First time I have been disappointed with anything from Sam’s.

This strawberry cream cake was bought for a birthday. It has eye catching appeal and flavor delicious. Very moist! Everyone lived it! It was worth the splurge! Won't wait for another birthday to buy it again.

I picked up my pre-ordered cake and drove 10 minutes home. The cake was watery on the bottom and lopsided in the cake box. I put it in the refrigerator, but that did not help. By dessert time this cake was a deflated mess! I would not recommend it.

Our favorite birthday cake. Just a perfect mixture of textures and tastes. It's very light. The walnuts just complete this experience. Really the perfect cake for a birthday party since no one can possibly find anything to complain about it. Just caters to everyone's tastebuds. Light, fluffy, and refreshing.

I did not care for this cake. I only ate one piece of it and the rest went to waste. There was not much flavor and it was dry on top and soggy on the bottom. The strawberries were not sweet. I didn't like the taste of the whipped cream or the nuts decorating the outside.I won't be buying this one again.

Oh my gosh, this was an incredible cake! Very moist and absolutely delicious. It wasn’t overly sweet, which pleased us even more because most cakes are way too sweet to be enjoyable for our family since we rarely eat sweet things. This cake was very rich- a small slice was quite filling. The strawberries used as the garnish weren’t real good but this is December so strawberries certainly aren’t in season. The strawberries were pretty and red but had no taste. The taste of the cake more than made up for the pretty but tasteless strawberries.
