Smooth

I use these tires on a Range Rover Sport. The ride is very comfortable for a sport SUV. We are approaching winter and I can't wait to grip the ice and snow with these. The Rover has stock wheels so I went with the Michelin tires and couldn't be happier.

Great Tires

These came on a mid size Lexus SUV, we are going to replace them after 40K miles. They have at least 10K remaining for a southern climate, they are worn enough that we feel we should replace them for this winter (it's my mother's car, I personally would wear them until the belts show but that's just me). The ride and handling on these (and other michelins we've had) are the best we've ever experienced.

Good while dry and dangerous when wet. Longevity poor!

Tire is fine during dry conditions. Noise is low and good grip and handling. On the other hand when raining and wet conditions you are gripping the steering wheel like your life depends on it. No grip or control actually quite dangerous and scary. The wear and longevity of these tire are not as advertised. 55,000 mile warranty hahaha. At 35,000 currently and we are looking to get new tires. I would advise looking at alternative tires

Premature Tread Wear on Larger Vehicles

I'm a 30 year loyal Michelin fan, but the Latitude Tour HP missed the mark. Almost crashed my '13 Land Cruiser, this winter during a low speed turn in snow. I checked the tires afterwards and was shocked to see the advanced tread wear. The tires are 21 months old, under 35,000 miles, nitrogen filled, balanced and rotated on schedule. Not a good value for the HEFTY PRICE! LTX Tires are simply the best, but didn't come in the correct size for my SUV. The LTX's are quiet, with great traction, even on ice. Latitude Tour HP's appear to wear prematurely on lager vehicles.

Great Tires

Put these on my 06 Touareg. They are incredible. Quiet, cushioned, and sticky. A great upgrade over the oem Continentals. I didn't think that was possible as the Touareg and the continentals were pretty great on their own. Everything DOES ride better on Michelins

Extremely disappointed with quality.

These tires were on the vehicle when purchased. 235/50 R18 Latitude Tour HP Speed rating V According to Michelin they have a 55k, 6 Year limited warranty and they are worn out at 36k miles and are dry rotting throughout the treads. They were MFG the 29th week of the year in 2014. DOT code 2914. There is no excuse to have a set of tires that MUST be replaced at 36k and I do understand that at 55k they would be almost bald. There is also no excuse for dry rotting in tires on a vehicle that is used daily and has driven for 12k miles per year. Michelin has had recall on similar size Latitude tires for a dry rot, should these have been included?

michelin latitude ture hp

I bought a new Ford Escape 2016 Platinum with theses tires, have 23,230 miles and the wear bars are showing and one of the tires has always had a slow leak, need to add air at least every 3 weeks Live in the Colorado mountains, tires do handle good but wear fast.

Great Expectations

2003 Mercedes ML350 Inspiration Edition @156K miles bought 4 Latitude Tour HP 275/55R17 109V. Replaced Michelin Cross Terrain SUV 275/55R17 109H purchased @75K miles five years ago. I researched available information plus my own experience to again buy Michelin. My SUV original equipment tires were Dunlop and were replaced around 37K miles with same Dunlop tire which lasted around 38K miles. I drove 200 miles from Chicago to Wisconsin first day and the new Michelins feel fantastic.

25,000 miles so far

We went two sizes taller and quite a bit wider with these 285 50 20" on our 2017 AWD Dodge Durango. After 25,000 the tires show no wear at all. We drive on the beach and off road frequently. Never been stuck with these tires. They are pretty quiet and look great on our rig. Not sure about the bad reviews. We use our tires hard with towing and off road use and these tires have worked great.

Latitude Tour HP

I purchased a set of 17" tires about a year ago for a 2005 Acura MDX and have close to 10,000 miles on them I liked the reliability, long wear, and slight gas economy improvement They ride a little bit harder than wrangler SR-As I purchased for a Blazer aroud the same time, but I know I'll get more wear out of the Michelins overall very satisfied!
