The instructions aren't the best but when you finally figure it out… it's a beautiful set. I love it because it's so clean cut and neat.

I purchased this unit as a bookshelf for my four year old grandson who is already an avid reader and has a plethora of books. Both he and his parents are ecstatic with the gift! It's well made and I particularly like the fact that it comes with two separate units for varied uses!

Overall, I like this product and it worked well in my space. You have the option to make this one large shelf or two smaller shelves. One of the pieces needed to make this into two smaller shelves arrived damaged - large dent/gouge in the wood (as did the box). Fortunately, we were planning to make one large shelf, so it worked out for us.

This could have been a five star review; they missed the mark when the manufacturers made the assembly different for the two cubed pieces. One of the cubed pieces was super easy to put together. The second cube was a wench to put together; it had extra holes that were kind of useless to me. I ended up having 4 other people to put the one cube together since it was nothing like the first cube.

This stand is steady and the cubes are quite spacious. I placed this in 2 places, which I really like due to space. Now on to cons. My husband is quite handy and as soon as he placed the top on he noticed most of the wholes to place the screws didn't match up. He had to file the holes to finish the job. There also was a gash on the top of one of the cubes. Didn't really want to pack it back up to ship back, so placing a book on top to cover it up.

I'm so pleased with these storage units! They're sturdier than most options for cube storage, and they look good in my living room. The inserts are good quality and are holding up nicely to two toddlers playing and moving them around. I'm considering buying a second set for their rooms.

I used a total of 16 cubes in my pantry. I love them! I stacked a cube of 4 cubbies onto another one. I used some of the baskets on top of the shelving for lighter weight, large plastic ware, and some on the bottom row so I could pull them out to access everything in that cubbie. They suited my need perfectly. I put them together by myself and except for turning one base the wrong way at first, they went together pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend.

I purchased 2 sets and both boxes came in fair to good condition. All was packaged well and I had no problems understanding directions, although they could stand a few improvements. I had a little issue matching up the ends, but with a little patients and a few taps here and there, I managed to get it all lined up and screwed together. About the only complaint I have is not being able to buy the full lenth unit. I purchased 2 in the past and really like that option. I needed another and this will work, but not my preference. Bring the other full length, 8 cube divider back.

When putting it together some of the holes did not line up which made for a slight challenge to assemble. Also the large holes for the dowels went too far in so needed to get extra dowels from manufacturer. Otherwise I love the versatility of the 4 or 8 combination. My daughter also bought it and just loves the sturdiness of the units.

I was excited to get this item. Having already put together similar pieces, I knew I could do this with no problems. However, there were problems, and it was very frustrating! The problems ensued not because I was unable to follow the poorly written instructions, but rather because of the poorly constructed pieces! The first few pieces went together as they should, but the final side on both squares was missing the threaded brass piece in the holes that would grip the bolt that was to screw the other side piece into it. Therefore, both squares each have one side that is held together with only two screws instead of four. I put that side floor down so the weight of it all would assist in holding it together, and in the end, I'm generally happy with the product, but the building of it was so frustrating that it really did leave a sour taste in my mouth. The only other thing was the number of extra, leftover parts that had me scouring through the instruction manual several times over to try to find what I missed, but never could find a reference to these pieces. That also added to my frustration.
