They meet the need

I substituted this for some well-worn high-performance Michelin tires. I was apprehensive to make this move, but other reviews led me to this decision. About 5000 miles into the new tires, I don't have any complaints. So far, I'm pleased with the performance, good grip. I'm not sliding around on wet pavement either, which is good. They had a slightly better price-point which helped me also make this decision to switch. I'd like to have more mileage to compare overall, but for now I'm happy with these newly purchased performance Goodyear tires.

Great handling and traction, pretty comfortable

It's not uncomfortable - it's just not a tire optimized for comfort. Tires that are optimized for comfort lack in handling or responsiveness. This is a "sport" tire, and acts like one - while delivering a good level of "comfort" as well. These tires hug the road and don't slip. They grip well and provide safety because of that.

Love these tires

When I bought these tires, we had a week of heavy rain. The tires performed beautifully - so much better than the tires I had before. My tires would frequently spin when I started off from a red light in the rain. These tires grip and go, I am so happy I chose them. And they are quiet. Haven't been on ice yet but I am sure they will be better than what I had.

Great tires - Our second set!

Bought our first set about 3 years ago, since that time put 70,000 miles plus on them - and they were not completely worn out. With winter coming, replaced them with the same tires without hesitation. Excellent handling in wet, dry and snow. Perhaps a little on the harsh side for ride / comfort but worth the tradeoff for the handling and long treadlife. The most underrated feature? The rim protector at the mounting edge - I'm sure it has saved our wheels from curbs and potholes. Highly recommend this tire.

Not Quite what expected

Replaced 8 year old Chinese tires that would easily burn from a stop, and, slid a lot in the wet. These give better traction, still able to burn, but, more GO than burn. Seems a lot better in the wet. What I Did Not expect from an American owned and, presumably, made, tire was that they are made in Vietnam. If I had thought to look at the tire before installation, I would have checked other companies for American made tires.

Really nice, quiet ride

Replaced the OEM tires on my 2016 Fusion at around 48,000 miles with these Goodyear Eagle Sport All Season tires. We travel from Ohio to Texas and also from Ohio to Wisconsin multiple times a year and thus need a tire with a good ride yet very good traction. These tires exceeded my expectations in both ride quality and quietness, a marked improvement over what had come on the car when it was new. The wet traction is very good, although I have not yet driven in snow with them to judge that aspect. I would certainly recommend these tires for similar applications based upon my experience so far with them.

Excellent All-Weather Tires for AWD Sedans

I bought these tires for an Audi A4 Quattro and they have provided excellent handling both in everyday driving as well as aggressive driving. The tires seem to take whatever you throw at them. Wet traction has been excellent and I'm eager to test them in the snow. They are pretty smooth when driving on well-maintained roads but they don't provide much comfort on the SF Bay Area's deteriorating, cobblestone-like roads. Otherwise than that, I would highly recommend them for those looking for a sporty, all-weather tire.

very short mileage life

2016 ford fusion purchased used at 20,000 miles....was a ford leased car... excellent condition... original factory G.Y. sport tires lasted 35,000 miles...assumed 1 st owner did hard driving... purchased 2ed set ... they lasted 35,000 miles...I am easy driver... even wear.. good handling / traction... rotated.. alignment good... started loosing air in 2 tires at 35,000 miles.. wear down to slightly below indicators on all 4 tires... expected much longer life at premium price.. dealer did not give any warranty... WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER SET...DO NOT RECOMMEND...

Awesome

Bought these tires as the prior Eagle was not available. They are noted for 50K miles and I have 68K on them and have about 2-3K left. Harder ride but driving freeway, streets, stop-n-go, and some mountains, they perform. I expected the harder ride but that is what you get when you choose a performance tire. I also inflate to 5PSI under max printed on the tires and have the rotated and re balanced every other oil change.... That's why my first site of Eagle of 40K lasted 48K and these 50K are at 68K

Ok, but not worth the price/tire

Replaced Michelin Pilot Tires, which I drove for over 40k miles. . These Goodyear tires are not as firm and car doesn't handle as well. After driving them for about 1k miles I feel a noticeable difference. Ok average tire. Probably won't purchase again.
