It's a good compromise in all areas, it is an overall exceptional choice for my 1.8T Jetta living in the Midwest. I've had my set for a little over 2 1/2 years and they're still going strong with plenty of tread left (I drive spiritedly often). They've gotten me thru feet of snow, sheets of rain, and they're grippy in the dry corners. They're loud, and can be troublesome if you expect silence, but I daily an obnoxious car so the exhaust & blowoff valve never let me hear the road noise anyways hahaha. Great buy if you don't have room to store an extra set of winter wheels!

I had a Michelin tires that came on the car. They were much quieter than this Eagle AS although, the Eagle AS has much better grip. The Michelin tires would squeal on exit ramps, slid in the rain, as well as the snow. These Goodyear Eagle AS were a big improvement in traction, just wish they were not so noisy on the highway. The Goodyear Eagle also has side walls that protect the wheel. The Michelin tires do not. So my wheels have a couple of scuffs that wouldn't be there if Goodyear tires were on the vehicle in the first place. ONLY complaint is the road noise from the Eagle AS tires. Otherwise I love the look and traction benefits.

These are the BEST Eagles we have had since the early 2000's. They are very quiet, smooth and handle like a sports car. My wife is the primary driver and comments after every trip how great these tires are. I am a bit more spirited and these tires have not failed to impress me ! I would purchase again in a heartbeat! Fuel mileage seems to be a bit better also. Just an added bonus.

This tire give my car a smooth quiet ride with great handling. I definitely made the right choice.

Good tires keep me safe in the snow huge difference

the road handling is very good and stopping is great

Good tires, good price. Service was ok as well.

So far tires are very good. Nice ride, great handling and quite.

This Was Not My First Time Will Only Buy Goodyear Tires Haven't Fail Me Yet

We haven't had an opportunity to test these tires in rain or winter conditions.
