Goodyear Eagle AS

When any of our tires needs to be replaced on any of the vehicles within the household, I usually purchase a set from a Goodyear competitor. However, after doing much research, I decided to purchase a set of the Goodyear Eagle A/S. I have to say these tires do not disappoint. The vehicles responsiveness to handing around corners and the traction to the road is suburb. In addition, the road noise is almost nonexistent. I would highly recommend this brand and this type of tire to anyone.

good tires

i'm getting ready to replace my current set of these which have about 40k miles on them. they still ride smooth for the tread life. i've driven in deep snow and i've driven in heavy rain with these and i'm all around satisfied, which is why i'm buying another set.

So far so good

i've only put about 3000 miles on these tires so i can't give any real mileage feedback. They do seem to perform well in all road conditions i've encountered in southeastern Ohio (wet, light snow and dry). They are also fairly quiet but time and mileage will tell the story with that. i've never had a bad experience with Goodyear tires. Some are a little better than others but they are all good. That's why i've been buying them for years. There are cheaper brands but like many things you get what you pay for. My opinion, tires are to important for the priority to be saving a dollar.

Good tires, happy

I put these on a 2019 Ford F-150. I wanted a good comfortable tire that would handle hauling loads as well. This truck pulls our 10,000 lb travel trailer. It's performed excellent. It provides a nice, quiet, comfortable ride with good handling. And withstands the loads of hauling when it needs to. I can't comment on the tire wear yet, but If I get at least 50,000 miles I'll be happy. very happy with the purchase.

Eagle keeps you driving Strong

The Goodyear Eagle sport has the following qualities: The tires are very balanced, direct and responsive to steering & communicate well with the driver, even at higher speeds. High levels of cornering grip and traction for an all-season tire are exceptional well. Wet traction and excellent hydroplaning resistance are unmatched. Excellent braking on dry and wet surfaces as well as a SMOOTH ride quality. Outstanding treadlife for a performance tire leads to Longer tread wear which leads to a great warranty on the Sport tires. The only CON that I can see is that the tires are a little bit noisier than other premium ultra-high-performance all-season tires.

Not bad so far

Have put about 1000 miles on these tires and so far so good. The only complaint at this point is at highway speeds (65+) they are a little noisier than I would like. There's a distinct hum at these speeds that shouldn't be there. Otherwise, handling and ride are what I would expect from a sport tire.

Goodyear eagle sport tire review

Tires are performing well but do ride a little harder than the original tires. I feel the bumps and vibration more. Otherwise they seem fine. I haven't driven with them I. Winter so can't evaluate their winter traction. Also too early to gauge trend life and it has barely rained since I got the tires so also don't know about wet traction,

Excellent Chevy Tahoe tire

3 years and 36,000 miles and the tires performance is still excellent and they are wearing evenly. These tires will easily reach the 50k warranty, all it takes is regular rotation and proper tire inflation and you'll get your money's worth and then some. We will definitely get the same tires again.

only have two, others are the old tires.

I don't drive a lot and only have driven less than 500 miles on the two new tires on the front of the car. But the old tires that are on the back of the car have been losing air, which they never did before. I am not happy that they are losing air as it leads me to believe that for some reason a slow leak was put into the tires when the new ones were put on. I chose the tires prior to having the car towed by AAA to the shop.

Overall experience at the dealer

So far, nice tires. However, haven't had them long enough to offer a more informed opinion. My car is a Mustang (Shelby GT) so very interested in how the tires handle on wet roads or snow. Was originally looking at the Asymmetrics but dealer recommended the Eagle Sport because of their handling in inclement weather. Actually, the Sports were a bit cheaper than the Asymmetrics so came across as a win-win. Respect for the dealer who recommended cheaper tires; don't see that very often. Cudos to them. I have been to this shop before and they come across as legit car guys so gotta think my Shelby is in good hands.
