Good Handling, Quiet, Require Replacement at 33,000 kms

Purchased theses tires in December of 2015. In less than 2 years after approximately 33,000 kms I am now being told that the tire require replacement already. Initially, seasonal performance was great and the tires were indeed quiet; unfortunately they appear have to wore out well before their suggested 90,000 kms expected life time. We purchased the 235/65R17 tires for our Honda Odyssey. Seems like our experience was very similar to that of the Ford Escape owner.

Smooth ride, great wear

I bought these Mchelin tires 8 years ago for a quiet and smoother ride. I have put 50,000 miles plus on them and have been advised to replace due to tread wear. Wear excelerated in hot Florida sun despite being garaged! The Garages are hot here too.

Just a Excellent tire for any vehicle.

I purchased the Latitude Tour HP's approximately 2 years ago and I am completely happy with their wear, ride and handling. I also have a set of X-Ice winter tires and I am equally happy with that set of tires. Handling is second to none. The vehicle came with Kumo's and it was like driving around on 4 cement blocks compared to the Michelins.

Poor treadwear.

Tires don't last. These tires came with our 2018 Toyota Rav4. Tires rotated regularly. its not even 45k miles and toyota dealer is saying all 4 tires need to be replaced as remaining treadwear is reaching legal limit. Used for daily errands in city/highway. No off roading. Expected better from Michelin.

SK, there are many factors to consider with regard to tire wear. Unfortunately, your original equipment tires do not have a mileage warranty. One of our team members will be in touch to discuss further.

Great Tire

Tires are Great. They have a sopurb ride. They handle extreamely well on wet as well as dry roads. They dont slip during quick stops. They give one of the smoothest rides i have felt. Sometimes we have to bite the bullet and pay a little extra for good quality. I'm 61 years old and have ridden on many tires over my lifetime and these are the best. They came standard on my first 2008 for and i made sure they were going to be on my 2011 ford. Thet wear very well. I think i will get between 60 & 80 thousand miles on these tires.

The original tire was ...

The original tire was P255/55R18 104H. Had shifted to 255/R18 109V Extra Load. The difference is quite significant. The fuel efficiency has improved, but the greatest effect is noticed on dramatic improvement on the ride comfort. It felt like the suspension has been enhanced by the smoothness on the ride.

Quiet and responsive

Had two sets of these on my old Acura MDX and as luck would have it they came as standard equipment on my new X5. I find the ride quiet, which is quite evident when given loaner vehicles wearing other brands. Tread life is ok, with 20-30k mi being the norm. I did have to have the original set on the X5 replaced at 12k, but that was apparently a result of gross alignment issues on the vehicle.

Quality tires

I've had almost all brands of tires for the past 30 yrs. and Michelin is on the top list I would recommend. I've tested it on multiple vehicles (cars, SUV, crossover) and it is consistently good in quality and performance. It always get passed the recommended mileage and still performs good unlike other tires that when it's close to recommended miles it's already beaten up and dangerous to use.

Michelin is the best.

Never thought a Suburban could be so quiet! The road noise from the tire is non-existent. It handles nicely - good traction wet and dry - drove through a few thunderstorms/heavy rain/standing water on road surface - without any issues. They handle as good as I hoped for - it's a Suburban and the large sidewall profile isn't helping but the suspension seems to be the weakest link when cornering. Very pleased overall with the tires - never have to worry about traction/grip and they are super quiet! Haven't gone through any snow/ice but I think they will perform as advertised in that situation as well.

My service advisor couldn't believe it!

I had my 2012 Range Rover in the dealership recently for routine service (49500 miles on the vehicle). In addition to the desired maintenance, the service experts did their usual overall check. My service advisor reported that I had 6 mm of tread left on my Michelin tires (Latitude Tour HP). When I told him they were still the original tires, he COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. Given the weight of the Range Rover, they routinely change tires at 30,000 miles. To have 6 mm of tread left with 49500 miles on the vehicle was beyond their realm of experience. I have been very pleased with these tires. You can easily guess what tires I will get next!
