High power capable

The PA4's keep my 2017 Corvette Stingray on the road all winter in Eastern Canada. Excellent traction and handling. They provide a high degree of confidence driving a high power vehicle under winter snow and ice conditions. They are not rated as run-flat but are said to be capable of slow driving for a short distance. I carry a small tire repair kit and compressor just in case.

Total satisfaction with the Pilot Alpin PA4 Assimetrico

Installed on a BMW X3 35i Xdrive these tires are by far the nest you can drive on. Snow and ice are no problem for this excellent winter tire. Strongly recommended. These tires (Run on flat) ride in relative silence and provide a comfortable ride. Bravo Michelin. Nothing to complain about except the price.

Very Reliable

I have always purchased Michelin tires for my 328i BMW. They last and with rotation I have only gone through two sets over the 17 years I have had my low mileage (135K) car. No issues whatsoever. Safe, reliable, smooth ...the best. I would never buy another brand.

Great winter tire

I drive my rear wheel drive car year round. By switching my Michelin Pilot Super Sports for Michelin Pilit Alpin PA4s in cold weather, I maintain the grip and performance I need for my driving style. I'm able to put power down and go for a spirited drive even in winter conditions. I'm confident enough, with these tires, to leave traction control off in the winter too! This is the best winter tire I've ever used.

Great & steady

I bought this brand 20 months ago and I am so happy with my choice. These tires are strong, steady on ice, very stable on road what ever the winter condition is and almost no tire noise. I bought them for my Lexus IS 350 2020, so you can imagine why I chose them. It's worth the price that I paid for. I highly recommend them.

Pilot Alpin PA4 are fatastic

I had these tires installed on my 2013 VW Golf R in October 2016 and could not have been happier. They have exceeded my expectations. I was going to buy the X-Ice XI3's which I have used in the past on a Passat and a Golf TDi but ultimately wanted to preserve and maintain the performance characteristics of the Golf R. It corners almost as if you have your summer UHP tires on. There is plenty of traction in the snow and ice and braking is excellent. The tires are also quiet. These are high quality tires you will enjoy.

Lesson learned: smaller tires for winter?

I bought these tires last winter and they impressed in terms of virtually no increase in noise level, no change in performance and minimal impact on fuel economy. Unfortunately I was disappointed in their performance on snow and ice - slipping more on my AWD Audi than my previous FWD car using x-ice tires. I've since learned that it might be better to have purchased smaller winter tires but have never had to do that before on previous vehicles to achieve confident traction using x-ice tires.

MICHELIN WINTER TIRES PA4

I have been using Michelin for many years and found solid state of road control. Winter tires excellent on Ice and braking to stabilize in short distance. At high speed (140/160km) control is great . The treads seem to raise the height .15". I would recommend these tires which are excellent in quality and inexpensive comparing to other brands. I use on both vehicles Lexus & Mercedes

Quiet, Comfortable and Exceptional Performance

A trusted brand that has provided a solution that performs well for mixed wintery conditions in Southern Ontario - snow, slush, ice, freezing rain, wet and dry/cold. The first thing that stood out with these tires were how quiet and comfortable they were to drive on, regardless if it was on city streets, highway or country roads. With regards to performance, it has everything I would expect from winter tires: excellent control/stability and maneuverability on the road, braking performance for sudden stops and handing in different winter conditions. Changing lanes on the highway over windrows (snow tracked mounds) is not a white knuckle experience with these tires. I have to say, that these tires live up to the ultra-performance rating while accommodating my "enthusiast" driving style. The only slight drawback I have is the lack-luster handling in the occasional heavy snowfall we get. This is where I have found the X-Ice performance better in this area (despite it being soft and squishy). With the lifespan and performance aging of the PA4s, unfortunately I cannot comment as I've only used these tires for 15K KM. In summary, for the price/performance, I recommend this tire.

From -7c.. to damp +7c I just trust them. P.S. I treat them gently over +15c.. there they start to get soft..

I am on my second set and use it the whole year. I live in -5 - +17c climate. The first set was 225/40-18 FR and 255/35-18 rear, sold the wheels and tires after 28k km (plenty left) and went for 4x 255/35 - 19" to cover the RC-F brakes. In my case 35-45k km is about max and that is fine by me.
