I love the Large Pot, is is hard to clean I agree, but I boil a little water in the bottom and it comes clean easily. It goes from Stove Top to Oven for me and I use it everyday. It chipper around the top immediately but doesn't reflect how it works. It just such a wonderful dea.

The skillet surface is a bit rough, making seasoning it somewhat challenging. The Dutch oven is fantastic. I've seen complaints about its weight, but i find it to be on par with any other cast iron Dutch oven- heavy. Love the color and look forward to years of use.

I have been looking for me a enameled Dutch oven for sometime. I couldn’t believe that this set was only less than $40.00. I grabbed it up before they sold out and free shipping was a plus since all cast iron is heavy. I did exactly like the directions said do to season the pan and also applied a little oil on the rim of my Dutch oven. I cooked bacon in my pan as the first thing I cooked and it did not stick and the more I cook in it the better seasoned it gets. As for my Dutch oven I absolutely love it! It’s great for slow cooking too because you can’t really use Hi heat on it because it retains the heat. I also found that it keeps my food warm for hours. I can’t say enough good things about my Dutch oven and pan. You won’t be dissatisfied with this purchase and it’s always nice to get something extra when you buy the Dutch oven. That’s really what sealed the deal for me and also I got the silicone handle with it! Great purchase so I went back and purchased 2 more sets for friends.

I've been cooking for 50 yrs, but am new to dutchoven cooking & cast iron. I'm in awe how awesome this dutchoven works for soups, stew, Sunday sauce, chili & 1 pot meals. I bought the 7 qt, & got this set for my hubby & me. Im very careful with it after I seasoned it well. I soak, then wash it with a soft scubber. I store it with the plastic clips to prevent chipping. Highly recommend.

Happy with purchase, however, lid knob cracked off at oven temp 425•f . But that’s an easy fix/replacement. Other than that, it was a great deal.

What kind of coating does Dutch oven has, does it scratch off easily like other non stick pots. I see silicon on cast iron Handle does it come with it?

The set is just as described; however, the size isn't shown on the cast-iron pot. Both are heavy and the pot is very large, nothing was stated giving the quart size. I checked again after the order was received.
