This can solved the problem of the dog getting in the trash. It's rock solid and looks good. It also holds 13 gallons of trash. I actually bought my neighbors one for Christmas.

This is the second Tramontina I have purchased. My last one lasted about 4 years. It worked great but like other reviewers have mentioned the foot pedal is made out of plastic and eventually cracks/breaks.

This is a great trash can. Very sturdy, the foot pedal is not cheap feeling. I tried 4 trash cans before this one and love this one! Also super easy to clean!

This is our 2nd one and our family loves it. Our first one lasted for more than 5 years until a screw kept coming out. Gave me a great excuse to buy a new one.

Trash can is good size for kitchen and stainless steel matches my appliances. It is quiet and the lid does not make noise when it closes. Kitchen trash bags fit perfectly and not hard to take out and change.

the trash can seemed well designed and it lasted is for a few years but the design flaw is the pedal. the stupid thing is made of thin plastic with a metal cover. so of course it broke from stepping on it over and over and over again. I don't know why it's not made entirely metal.

Great product. It replaced an older model that gave us many years of service. Love the flat top and the ability to open by hand. Some competitors open by foot or nothing. While our older model was broken we could still open it manually unlike some with recessed lids.

I bought this 13 gallon for my kitchen to replace a 30 gallon trash can. I needed a smaller one because it took to long to fill the 30 gallon and it would smell after a few days. Even if it was quarter filled. This one looks sleek and it’s a soft close top. You also don’t see the finger smudges, unlike my old one. It’s also sturdy. It has a removable plastic container inside that can be washed when needed.

Nice trash can but a little smaller than a standard 13 gallon kitchen trash. Does the job, but volume wise is not as large as it could be. Love that it has the inside liner that is removable for changing bag. Also love the soft close of the top after opening. However with the size, bag fits loose whereas others stretched around making a good seal. If the size were better I would give it 5 stars. I'll be keeping the trash can for now, it works well.

I'm very pleased with my purchase after having if for about 3 weeks. The soft close is nice since I'm up later than some others in the home. With my old step trash can I occasionally let it slam shut and woke people up. FYI: I don't know if this will last, but the trash can seems to have a bit of a PLEASANT odor to it masking nasty smells....but, it may be "new car" smell if you know what I mean. Only time will tell
