Tastes fantastic! Lasts longer that regular breads. Very filling. Does not seem to raise glucose levels in diabetics ( 1 and 2 ) - recommend to all my diabetics pts.

This bread has just about everything going for it (except perhaps for an unduly dry texture compared to similar European breads) but is ruined by a ridiculous excess of sugar. Why do US bakeries adulterate their bread in this way?

I absolutely love this bread! Aside from my late grandmother's homemade biscuits, this is the best bread I've ever tasted and that I will buy for as long as they hopefully forever make it! I most highly recommend!

I've been loving Dave's bread for a few years now. However, the loaf I purchased last had something different going on w/ the ingredients. As I chewed, it seemed I was chewing crystals, maybe sea salt? I didn't want to waste the load, so I cut off the crust thinking the bread might be ok. But, it too had the crunchy crystals. Not wanting to eat any more of this loaf!
