The Best tire made. Period.

I drive 22-26,000 miles a year in my Jeep GC and can attest the Latitude Tour HP is the best tire I've ever owned. Tread life is easily +70-80K and offers great traction on dry, wet or snow-covered roads, an incredibly quiet ride and low maintenance. No other tire in this class compares to this model.

Not Michelin Standards

Michelin Latitude Tour HP's factory installed on 2010 Cadillac SRX. Even wear, great ride, but got only 36000 miles of tread life. Have other styles of Michelins on other vehicles and have been extremely satisfied. At this price I expected more from the Michelin brand.

poor tread wear on Michelin Latitude Tour HP

Have the Latitude Tour HP on my 2014 Cadillac SRX and tires need to be replaced. The car won,t be three years old until mid-May. Tread wear very poor for an upscale tire. As a previous contributor stated my tires were regularly rotated and pressure adjusted at the Cadillac dealership. Car is driven lovingly by two senior citizens. Not happy at all, and am considering another high-end brand.

First Time User - Last Time User

I bought a 2010 Nissan Armada Platinum and it had these tires on it. I just hit the 20,000 mile mark and took it in for its regular oil change. The dealership did a comprehensive review of the vehicle and marked that the tires need replaced immediately. All 4 tires are worn down to the wear bar, and, a couple of them are beyond. The tires and car have been on a dealership maintenance program which includes tire rotations every other oil change. So, the bottom line is that these tires have not held up for me. My personal belief is that having to replace tires at 20,000 miles is not acceptable...ESPECIALLY...considering the price of these tires.

Michelin Latitude Tour HP - Didn't Go The Distance

I have the Latitude Tour HP on my 2014 Toyota RAV4 and my Toyota Dealer says the tires need to be replaced. I bought the car new and the car won't be three years old until October 1, 2017. This is my first set of Michelin tires and the tread wear is not what I expected. Very poor for an upscale tire. My tires were regularly rotated and pressure adjusted at my Toyota dealership. Car has 49K original miles and is driven locally for family and ride-share applications. Not happy at all, and am considering another high-end brand.

WELL DESIGNED TIRE

Just replaced 4 tires after road hazard left one beyond repair. Had 40K miles after 3 years and still had tread depth of 4/32". Would have had to buy 2 tires but decided to replace all 4. Would have made it to 50K+ if it wasn't for the damaged tire. Replace with the same Michilin type and hope to go 55K+ miles on these.

Pay for the name and get a great tire.

Michelin tires came standard with my last two Cadillac's and are standard on all new Cadillac's Must be a reason. You think? Bought a set of Nokians to replacement tires on my first Cadillac. Paid a little less. Will replace my next set with Michelin's. Worth the extra money. Great tires just wish they were a little cheaper. LOL.

Underperforming

OE on my 2016 Ford Escape. Now have 26,772 miles & told need to replace. These are supposed to be 55,000 mile/6 year tires. I don't drive high speeds, make jackrabbit starts or heavy breaking. Not happy about the performance of these tires, and not inclined to purchase Michelin again. Will probably go back to my old standby Goodyear brand.

review

I bought a set of Michelin Latitude Tour HP (215/65R16) in May 2014 for my '05 XC70. The improvement in handling is tremendous. I cannot comment on how the tires wear since I've been driving on them for only 6 weeks, but am very happy with the overall and high speed handling they provide.

Not Impressed

These tires are very middle of the road in my opinion. Pros: They are quiet, good dry handling, and great for fuel economy. Cons: I've had them for 10,000 Miles, and they are over 1/2 way worn already. They are terrible on snow, ice, slush, mud, or any slippery surface for that matter. The term "All Season" is a total joke. Now, I know they are not snow or mud tires, but I would expect better performance than these offer in those conditions. Will be switching over to Cooper, Goodyear, or Falken.
