I was extremely skeptical about the advantages of this product for my hair type. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I've been using this the past month. I found this product to go on clear and dry clear. The fine hairs along my hairline were tamed and made my hair look more tidy than usual. I also used this product on my eyebrows and feel like it worked well there as well for everyday use. I recommend this product to anyone wanting to experiment with something new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Serum in three different scenarios and none of them left a lasting impression. First I tried it on my freshly blow dried hair which is how I normally use serums. To apply I use one pump spread between both hands, gently pat the top layer starting just above my ears and then working it in more as I work towards my ends. On the plus side it went on nice and silky, didn't leave my hair greasy or heavy, and did make my hair shinier. The downfall, however, is that it didn't tame my flyaways and frizz for very long. It seems to work initially but then once it has dried a bit my hair went back to still being a bit frizzy (but slightly better than with no product). Subsequently I tried using it on my damp hair before drying it. Same results, my hair dried slightly frizzy. In a last ditch effort I tried using it on damp hair before blowing drying and then touching up again on my dry hair after. That was a mistake, my hair got greasy and heavy feeling, but the product doesn't say to use it that way so it's my own fault. All in all it's a run of the mill serum. Yes it does tame my hair slightly, but not enough to my liking and I don't have super frizzy hair to begin with. It definitely does deliver in the shine department, but for me the frizz control is a much more important aspect. I didn't hate the product, but it's also not really worth using for such minimal results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product. I've been using Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum for a long time now. I have super curly hair and I live in the south. It's always humid or raining which makes it pretty much impossible to have great straight hair day. This is the only product that has been able to tame my frizz while keeping my hair flowing and soft. It's really light and doesn't leave my hair feelin greasy, which I love. I recently decided to try it on my curly hair and it did wonders. Now when the wind hits me my curls just fall back into place instead of blowing into a huge frizzy puff ball.

I have supper frizzy hair and it gets extremely tangled at night. I use this after the shower, before bed time, & after straightening/curling my hair. It keeps it all locked in one place and keeps it from tangle. I even use it on my daughters curly hair.

Even when ot was humid outside this serum protected my hair from frizzing up and getting unmanageable. I make sure to keep 2 bottles at all times. One in my bathroom and one in my purse. This stuff beats higher priced serums. My hair is so, silky, shiny, smooth and tangle free. When ever I use this serum my comb just glides through my hair. It not only helps detangling after washing but helps keep it from getting tangled while dry. Anything else it takes 15 to 20 minutes to comb out my hair. It’s a miracle in a bottle. I love the entire line. But this stuff on its own rivals and beats many of the very costly salon serums. I swap out the sleek Nd shine line and the grow strong. I love them both so much. But this is a must have for unruly hair. My niece and I both have hair that tangles easy and are tender headed but we have completely different hair types.Not a problem with this stuff. It is a life saver.

At first, the product made my hair seem oily, but after combing through with my fingers, it looked normal again. It didn't worsen frizz; in fact, I saw an improvement. This product seems great for updos and the packaging is great to throw into your purse.

I was hesitant on curly hair but works! The hold is the only reason I have 4 stars instead of five.
