These are amazing

This device is the most amazing thing that I have seen in the over 15 years I have owned and maintained a pool. I have seen my chlorine usage cut way down, I don't have that chlorine smell coming out of the pool that we always had, and my pool is crystal clear. I have recommended it to a dozen friends. What a great invention!

New mobile purchasers beware, this “Remington Solar Chlorine-Free Sun Shock Replacement Copper Anode” offering is more properly titled “Copper Anode refill for Remington Solar Chlorine-Free Sun Shock Replacement System”. Waste of my time as a native english speaker looking for a change to my pool shock routine via Sam’s app on my smart phone. Not an epic fail, the two star is more due to to availability of more easily found cheaper refills elsewhere, easier than me understanding what the offering here was that is.

This item is Not As Advertised. It's a copper bar that the AD says to float in the pool; and the AD shows a "housing unit" that holds the bar. The bar is quite heavy and is NOT going to float by itself. I received the bar in a plain brown cardboard holder, NO instructions and No indication of the floating housing is following. I do not see how this is supposed to work; I want my money back.

I've been using this now in Texas for 3 years and I'm still surprised on how well it works. Assembly was easy and not sure why some have had difficulty centering the rod. Mine seemed to have centered itself once the screw was tightened. You need to be sure to clean off the rod and coil probably once every two weeks. Usually a strong stream of water will do the job. I've had to use the little brush on the coil maybe twice. One change in the description I would make... where it says "One anode will last up to two swimming seasons or more"... I disagree with that. For my 18,000 gal pool, I've used one rod per year. Maybe it has something to do with how much sun and heat we get in Texas. But overall, replacing the rod once a year is still far cheaper than how much chlorine shock I was using before using this product.

Use it every year in the pool and our water is clear!!

We have been using this product for 3 years in our inground pool and it works unbelievably well! We no longer use chlorine with the exception of occasional shock.
