It's a pleasant, lightly alcoholed beverage for the non-drinkers. I bought it for my hubby who really just want clean-sweet-fizzy "wine cooler" type and this fits. But if you actually like wine somewhat, don't waste money on this one, there are plenty of $14 wines that are very drinkable. For easy holiday cheers, this is ok.

It was a chore to open the bottle. I almost gave up and was going to return to the store, but I kept at it. I used my # 1wine opener that opens all my bottles, except this one. The cork was crumbling. So, I used a manual cork, but that broke off in it. In combination with YouTube videos, a knife, pliers, and my wine opener, with much strenuous effort, I was able to get the cork out. Amazingly, no cork pieces were in the wine. Not sure how long this bottle was sitting on the shelf. I never experience difficulty opening a bottle. At the end of it all, this wine taste watered down to me. I drank the whole bottle, so yeah. Very watery. Will not buy again as this was the worst experience just to get it open.
