I purchased these for more daughter around Christmas time. She just started wearing them this month since she was living back home from college. The backs don’t fit tight enough. She lost one of them due to this. I called Sams club and explained to them but was told being she lost it theirs nothing that can be done. And you can’t purchase only one.

one pearl is more white and the other is more cream; one is larger than the other one and definitely not AAA ! Guess they may have mismatched them ?...Im just unlucky with these pearls earrings looking at the other reviews ...Therefore Im returning them.

I've purchased these earrings on two occasions and to date have experienced the same problem both times; the post from one of the earrings and the pearl somehow became dislodged and the pearl fell off. The first such occasion was tremendously embarrassing as my GF was trying them on as one part of her birthday present. After replacing them, and receiving the new ones, it happened again as we were preparing to attend a formal dinner. Thankfully, we hadn't left the house but it was embarrassing nonetheless. In both circumstances, it was the first time she had worn the earrings which only added to my angst. I would steer clear of these and opt for something else.

I researched a lot and since these were supposed to be Akoya AAA RATED, I decided these would work. Just got them and the first thing wrong was the backing. They were so small I could not handle them. I had passed on Akoya's for $56 because of the small back. Now I found these small and difficult to handle. So I decided to look closer at the actual pearls. The luster and shape were good. But the seat of the post was not as big as the picture. Look at my picture and you can barely see the plate connecting the post. That looks nothing like their picture. That could be problematic as they might come off the stud easily. The pearl size was about right on for matching my large strand. They were shinier than my Mikimoto and not as white but they were good. And finally, there was no certificate or any mention on paper these were Akoya pearls. That should be included.

Purchased as a gift for my Mother who is a pearl enthusiast. The earrings came in a cheap blue cardboard box with no signage, sticker, or any information about being AKOYA, white gold, AAA quality, or the size. Nothing but earrings in a cheap box. Very, very disappointed!

Would have preferred what I thought were creamy white pearls, but acceptance on my part is final.
