I have owned my Michelin Climate 2 tires for several months, and I am very disappointed. First off they are a very noisy Tire. Doesn't matter what speed you are going or what kind of road you're on. Secondly, they have a high rolling resistance. My mileage has dropped by 3 miles per gallon. Lastly, they are a terrible ride. You feel every bump and road imperfection.

Wow, I debated investing this much money in a set of tires, but throughout my history of owning automobiles since I was 16 years old, Michelin has always been my best bet out performing any of the major players in the tire industry. I was particularly interested in the durability of a gravel hill that is my driveway of coming up and down my old BF Goodrich tires slipped and didn’t feel very sure footed. However, these climate cross climate tires are awesome. I also have to say that I used my automobile over the weekend in heavy downpours of rain. I interstate speed my car never once felt like it was hydroplaning at all again the footprint, the footprint and the grip of the tire on the asphalt was truly remarkable. I absolutely love these tires the most impressive well worth the money Michelin once again is a Top Notch tire company

Long time Michelin Tire Buyer, I've had the AT & Defenders on many model vehicles. Wife has 2016 Toyota Sienna AWD Limited. OEM came with Run flats which were noisy and hard. I changed to Defenders which is a great tire. With 63,000 miles we just installed Cross Cimate 2 size 235-55/18. Michelin knocked it out of the park with these tires. Feels like I'm driving a luxury 80k SUV now. Smooth, Quiet and tons of control. I can not believe how quiet and smooth they ride. We live in Florida but also spend a lot of time in the Mountains of NC. NO snow yet but Ill report once we do. Im pretty confident they will perform. Thank You Michelin.

I got a set last year. I had Bridgestone Mud&Snows on my Outback Touring. Absolute garbage in snow. An AWD that continuously got stuck. Terrible hydroplaning in heavy rain. I researched and found raves about the Cross Climate. Then I had to search like crazy. Everyone was "sold out." Finally found a set, had them delivered and a local shop installed them. The result? Amazingly good handling. No hydroplaning even going through standing water. As far as getting stuck in moderate snow? These tires turned my Subaru into a snowmobile! Going forward all our AWD vehicles will be wearing these at replacement time. Thanks for such an exceptional tire. Jake

I bought 4 CrossClimate2 tires for my 2017 Pacifica. I’m thrilled with how well these tires are handling snow and ice. I have more control of the vehicle and I can negotiate an icy, snow-packed road on an incline with no trouble. The installer mentioned one potential down side - these tires can only be rotated front to back, not all 4 positions. I don’t care a bit- the all weather properties are what I need driving around Northern IL. City streets to rural roads, I’m completely satisfied with the tire performance. Compared to the stock tires that came on my new Pacifica, which had about 50k miles, these tires shine in every category of performance. The tracks from my new tires are also attractive and distinct- it looks like herringbone in the snow and ice.

After a lot of research and talking to a lot of different sales people at tire shops about what tire to buy I decided to go with this tire. I live in Ohio and work about 50 miles away from home. These went on an AWD Honda CR-V and have performed wonderfully. My fuel economy improved from the low quality tires that were on it when I got it, rain traction is marginally better, the ride quality and noise level are the best I've ever had and snow traction over the past Ohio winter was outstanding. Under a level 3 when I am required to get to work I had no issues confidentially and safely getting to and from work. Great fuel economy, even being a brand new tire. Couldn't of picked a better tire, and will definitely be buying another set!

I bought a set for my Chevy Impala back in August. 10th generation Impala’s are quiet as is but this tire made it even more. Recently with living in Wisconsin we have had a mix of snow and rain making slush mess. This tire made driving in it like it wasn’t even there. I was bit skeptical when first purchasing these and with the somewhat higher price compared to other options but I am now sold. Well worth the price for noise reduction and handling of winter weather. Would recommend to anyone who lives in Midwest who truly deal with all seasons of weather sometimes even in one day.

I JUST EXCHANGED MY DEFENDER 2 TIRES AFTER 5 WEEKS FOR CROSSCLIMATE 2 TIRES BECAUSE THE DEFENDER 2 TIRES WERE TOO LIGHT FOR MY 2005 LINCOLN TOWN CAR AND WERE TRANSMITTING ROAD VIBRATIONS THROUGH MY STEERING WHEEL. THE CROSSCLIMATE 2 TIRES ARE HEAVIER AND PROVIDE A LIKE FACTORY-NEW, VERY SMOOTH RIDE!

Bought these tire about 4 months ago. Yesterday, I traveled to Mankato, MN and encountered a spring snow storm with fairly heavy snow fall. We saw 10 cars in the ditch! In one case, we were directly behind a sedan that spun out in a curve ahead of us. We were the same speed as that car and did not feel any loss of traction! Our speed was approximately 45. I did take my foot off the gas as we watched him slide sideways, coming to a stop in a driveway. At no time did I feel any twitchy or loss of adhesion to the road surface! I highly recommend these tires in snow country! These tires are slightly rougher riding and noisier than my previous all season tires but do not change my rating at all, these tires may save your life!

Bought these late into a Michigan winter in mid February and they've so far handled the ice, snow, and slush as far as momentum goes. I would still pump your brakes on the ice as these aren't a dedicated snow tire but for the price, they do a fine job. If you want a snow tire, get the Blizzak WS90. The CC2s handle excellent though around corners and stop smoothly in most conditions.
