I have been taking fish oil pills that cost me about $0.33 a pill and I noticed these on sale at Sam's and was tempted. I read reviews in store on my phone and was put off by the reviews talking about the minty burp. The other pills I was taking truly have no taste. Plus they had twice the amount of omega 3 in them. But at $0.07 a pill I had to try them. I noticed the minty burp pretty quickly after trying them. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but after 3 or 4 days taking these pills I've actually come to like the fresh mouth feel the minty burp gives me. It kinds of feels like I ate a breath strip, though not that intense. Anyway, if you hate mint taste (how do you brush your teeth?) then you'll probably not like these, even though there is not taste to the pill when swallowing. If you don't mind the minty burp, you'll be hard pressed to find a better value. I did however switch to the triple strength fish oil that Sam's also sells, at a slightly higher per pill cost. I decided I do not like the vitamin D included in these double strength pills. I'd rather take it separate because if I take multiple of these double strength ones to get the dose I was getting from my old pills, I'll end up with way more D than I need.

I barely ever write reviews, but I had to for these. I have to say these work, the minty taste that everyone is complaining about is there, but mild for me, and even less if I take them with a slim fast or something to eat. My triglycerides have been high for years in the alert range.... Taking these for the past 2 months, first one a day then 2 and now 3 consistently has dropped them in more than half from 238 all the way down to 103 (the lowest they've been in years). I'm also eating better now and exercising but when I started taking them I still wasn't eating the best. Obviously they work so I'm going to continue to take them, I also feel better and am losing weight. My blood pressure was the lowest it's been in awhile, also my other cholesterol readings were in the normal range. Can't say enough about these for $13 they may have saved my life from a heart attack or a stroke. Crazy.

I have been struggling with high triglycerides for years, until I bought this product. I take one capsule 3 times a day with food. In October my levels were 386 and just got my labs back and my levels were at 186. Amazing. I do get a minty after taste burp but it doesnt bother me. I am just extremely happy my triglycerides are getting controlled. I recommend this to everyone. The best fish oil I have taken ever, plus the waters are clean in Alaska, trust me I know because I use to live there. Thanks Sams, Just bought another bottle of this.
