I was using the earlier Defender tires then got the Defender 2 tires. These tires are fantastic. Have used them in summer with heavy rains also now during winter with heavy snow and freezing rain. They have stopped without any noise and even on recent bad weather. Thank you Michelin.

I upgraded to Defender2 tires and and happy so far. Ride is not only more quiet but is also smoother. A little better on gas mileage. Design seems good for my area of usage, construction and materials so far are holding up well, I have had them rotated once. They were more expensive than other choices but so far worth it. I was eligible for a discount given as a gift card and am not as satisfied with that option because I was only able to use it for the exact amount issued. This is almost impossible to do so I will have to leave a small amount left on the gift card. Michelin needs to change this to allow customers to use all of the discount given on the card.

Nice at first, but every time I rotate they handle poorly. They seem to overinflate after driving on the highway and are atrocious, worse after about 30000 miles. I would throw these on a minivan, not an Avalon. If you don't care about ride quality or handling these are your tires.

Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). So far so good after approximately 3 months and 4,000 miles on our Defender 2s. The most notable improvement is a front end road noise reduction; the tires also provided admirable traction after a recent snowstorm. Some improvement in gas mileage was anticipated but that hasn't been noticed. Overall we're satisfied with our Defender 2 tires (but, hey, what new tires aren't an improvement over aged, worn tires?).

I could feel the difference! Car felt more stable on the turns and handled great on gravel and asphalt.

Feel tires are great thus far. No road noise. Have had Michelins before and find this make are one of the best!

2024 Honda CRV Hybrid sporty L, Tires grip the road are whisper quiet and make the ride feel taller, very comfortable and smooth ride. 100 times better than the original factory set. zero road noise I highly recomend these tires for any Small suv.

Defender 2 design will provide excellent traction, durability and grip! Excited for the long-term wear too.
