Had to replace 2 of my T&H tires on a 2015 Sienna FWD. Traction off the line especially if wet is terrible. Because they put them on the back for h first few months it was too late to take back. Traction on these is worse than my fairly worn older tires. Who cares about how long they last if they don’t work well enough to grip. Tried to see what they would do about it and same answer of take it back to where you bought them. Don’t plan to use Michelin anymore.

Very quiet and smooth. I love the way they handle. I live in a hilly / mountainous terrain where we get all four seasons. Recently we had a significant snow fall and we had to make a sudden stop due on the freeway. I was thankful that we had the Michelin Defender 2's. We stopped on a dime without any slippage. I can't comment on wear and durability because I haven't had them long enough but from other reviews that I've read from many sources, these were the "BEST" Recommended tire for my vehicle (Subaru Ascent). I have purchased Defender tires for 20+ years and these Defender2 tires are outstanding for performance and the ride and control are excellent. Best tire in snow and they give you confidence because they hold the road so well. The only tire I will put on my cars.

I love these tires! Had Defender XLTs on my 2012 Rav 4 and couldn't wait to put them on my new car. I like the thick tread and way the drive through water. My car just feels more safe, as crazy as that sounds. I now have Defender LTX on my 2022 Rav 4 and still enjoy the ride!

The best tire purchase I have ever made. I replaced the tires on my 2021 Honda CRV which only had 28,000 miles and what a difference it made. The ride is smoother, quieter and my car seems to even handle better. I would highly recommend Michelin no matter what series you’ll be getting the best tire even though they are a little pricey you’ll be getting your moneys worth.

Michelin Primacy MXV4s were the tires replaced by these. The biggest difference between the two is that the Defender 2s are much better in rain, snow, and slush, which is the reason I got them. My biggest concern was that they would be louder on the highway and they are not. The MXV4 is a fine tire, but these make my car more capable in bad weather.

I only buy Michelin tires from an authorized Michelin dealer. The Defender 2 and th Defender LTX are my goto tires. Smooth riding, quiet, traction, and durability are second to none in my book. Also, my local dealer has a lot to do with it as well. Good people, helpful, and I've been dealing with them for a long time.

If you are looking for new tires for your Ford Edge or any vehicle, I highly recommend the MICHELIN DEFENDER 2. I hated the way my car sounded when I drove. Coming from a Cadillac CTS, the Edge has loud road noise. I needed new tires and spent the extra money and got the Michelins. Totally changed the ride of the car!!! So smooth and quieter. Feels like a new car! You will not be disappointed!

Factory tires had worn and was time to replace. Did lots of research before buying and these seemed to fit my needs (Quit, smooth ride with a good tread life.) The Defender 2 has not disappointed. Minimal, if any road noise, smooth ride and excellent grip in rain and snow. You get what you pay for and in this case, these were a bit more than others, but well worth the money spent.

Very quiet tire but very poor grip and a weak sidewall. These are probably great for high milage fleet vehicles or rentals but not for any vehicle one might drive spiritedly. Do not drive these hard in the rain, you may die. I replaced a set of Yokohama's with these and to be honest, I got better performance from the worn out Yok's. Now I know these are not a performance grade tire by any means, but I did expect a little better from Michelin.
