Grows really fast and green

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know who loved this lawn seed more, me or my hubs lol. We sprinkled this just in time for the rains to really give it a good soaking. We had some giant brown patches and dead grass but our lawn looks so luscious and refreshed after using this !! It did take some time to see the difference but we were also in a battle with the local birds who thought we'd distributed the grass seeds solely for them to eat lol.. The price for what you get is absolutely unmatched. We will definitely be purchasing this again as needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic seed and works great, but I wish it covered more surface area. The grass grown is nice green and crisp. If you are doing a normal size yard, you are going to need a LOT of bags because 5lbs only covers about 850sqft

This spring we tried overseeding our front yard with this product. It germinated quickly and we were already seeing sprouts within about eight days. After 21 days we had full coverage over the bald spots and are very pleased with the results.

We have been trying to get grass in our yards for YEARS but we live in the desert of Texas. We gave this a try and are excited to see how the grass grows. It was easy to spread and seemed like good quality seed compared to others we've attempted to use.

We were encouraged to try Pennington Kentucky 31 because it is easy to grow and doesn't require much maintenance. Well, that is definitely true! Simply followed the directions and in maybe 3 weeks started to see significant sprouts and by weeks 4 and 5 had grass!! I gave 4 stars because some of the packaging claims were a bit overzealous and I just recently purchased more seed (Pennington Sun and Shade Mix) because we do still have some small patches. Also, in the shadier part of the lawn, the original seed didn't take that well, even though the packaging indicated otherwise. But nonetheless, I am sticking with Pennington and going to try to incorporate some of the Sun and Shade Mix in those areas!

But I love the simple to read instructions that I can do. I like the grass seed mix. I am inspired to work on the yard this weekend. I'm impressed and will be using this product.
