It was average price and appears to be great quality seeds. I purchased a bag of lawn starter fertilizer to go with it. We'll have results and an update in a couple of weeks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We laid Pennington grass seed down and I kid you not less then a week later baby grass was sprouting up. After several weeks are yard is looking fantastic. It has made the grass fuller and even better, soft!! I wish the bags were a bit bigger for the price. I do like the thick plastic type bags, no worrying about a rip and loosing seed. Definitely would recommend Pennington products!! Great grass for practicing sports!!

I followed the instructions exactly: loosened the soil, spread the seed evenly, kept it consistently watered, but weeks later the bald patches in my lawn still look the same. While a few blades came up in other areas, the spots I was really hoping to fix remain bare. Disappointing, especially considering the time and effort I put in. Wouldn't recommend if you're trying to patch problem areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happily, I received a bag of Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue grass seed so i can review it. I had a bare patch of dirt in my yard so sprinkled the seed as per the directions. In just a few days there were little green sprouts coming up! The weather gave us sunshine and rain so now the bare patch is pretty much all filled in. I will definitely buy this seed again!

This seed seems to have germenated quicker than most and seems to be growing well. I didn't notice and new weeds that sometimes come with lower quality seed. I was provided this product in exchange for a review, but I would certainly pick this one again when seeding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grass seed is hard for me to evaluate because it's so hot or miss. I had pretty good luck with this grass seed in 1 patch. I overseeded my yard with this seed and it grew really well in 1 area. Overall this product worked well for me and was easy to apply (not sure any grass seed is hard). I did water it 3 times a day to get the results I achieved.

Reseeded the front lawn. It took off so well. Will have to reseed the upper part due to heavy down pours. This help my erosion problem also.

Seeded new yard with Kentucky 31 in South Carolina in the last week of March. 5 days and had nice patches of grass, 3 weeks later I have a full, lush, and green yard. I'm 100% satisfied, now I need to figure out how to best cut it.
