I got this two nights ago to save time for dinner after working late and it was heavenly. Miss Chicago favorites all the time now that I’m 600 miles away from home but this was nice to enjoy. Took the leftover slices to work and had to fight off my coworkers all “wanting just a bite” because I know one taste would have them hooked, prone to devour my precious lunch. Yummy from beginning to end! Chewy, buttery, and wonderful.

I bought this yesterday. My son followed the directions exactly as stated on the box. The top cheese was melted and brown. When he sliced the pizza- the crust underneath the sauce was still doughy & uncooked. He placed back into the oven for another 8 minutes. The top was well overcooked and the doughy portion was not much better. He peeled the cheese off & ate that and the rock- hard crust was thrown out.

I bought this frozen pizza, not with much high hopes as frozen pizza doesn't usually carry over the flavor as freshly made in-restaurant pizza but we all enjoy it. The crust was buttery and crunchy and the amount of cheese was perfect. This one has become a weekly staple for our household and I would recommend this to anyone.

I eat this stuff at least once a month, and me and my friends all think it's the best and usually most affordable frozen pizza. Add that it's produced right here in the Midwest, it's about all we eat when it comes to frozen pizza. Add your own toppings for a great time!

We eat at least one pizza a week and home run pizza is on the same level as a restaurant freshly made pizza if it was up to my family, they would eat pizza every night, lol but I can honestly say that we love the taste, the quality and the texture of your cheese pizza

There are some serious issues with packaging and directions on this pizza. This is a HAZARD waiting to happen. First, in RED HIGHLIGHTS it says "make sure the pizza is cheese side up", which indicates that you have had feedback that it is hard to discern... why else would you have it in red highlights? Then, the way to identify, per the directions, is look for brown cheese spots.. Guess what? Both sides have brown spots. If you knew that this could be an issue (as for the need to make sure this is highlighted on the box), then don't you think you could go the extra mile and identify the top (if you think it could be confused...which it can) of the actual packaging on the pizza itself? Also, the packaging says that no pan is needed, which is also on the directions. Following these directions, and misidentifying the top of the pizza leads to our disaster... the top of the pizza melting and falling to the bottom of the oven, creating a smoke filled house in 30 degree weather. it took hours for the smoke to dissapate, which we can still smell the following day. We gave this pizza to our babysitter to make for her and our daughter, and fortunately we were still home when it happened. Please go the extra mile on this and find a clear way to identify on the pizza packaging (or the pizza itself) that clearly demonstrates this before someone gets hurt.

I've been regularly buying HRI frozen pizzas, especially the cheese pizza, for probably about 10 years and I still haven't gotten tired of them. The best tasting (and healthiest) frozen pizza out there and CPD (calories per dollar) is better than most competitors.

This is simply the best frozen pizza there is by a mile! You can tell it’s made with high quality ingredients, and the crust is like no other. I normally get pizza with toppings, but this pizza is so good that you don’t even need any (although the Home Run Inn pizzas with toppings are top-tier too). I don’t bother buying any other frozen pizzas at this point, as I’ve been far too spoiled with Home Run Inn.

Grew up in Chicago and was a White Sox fan. Home run inn pizzas are senomous with great Chicago tradition. We retired to California 7 years ago, and realized that Xalafornians haven't a clue as to what a pizza should taste like. To our surprise we noticed that our local grocers Sprouts and Albertsons were carrying Home Run Inn frozen pizza. We now have the ability to enjoy and reminisce the best flavor in pizza while living in Southern California. We have now turned on several Californians to the great Chicago icon that is HOME RUN INN. Your frozen pizza beats out all of the local imatators. Keep up the good work.

Being a Chicago guy who transplanted to Florida, I was very glad to find frozen Home Run Inn Pizza in my grocer’s freezer. I was a Southside guy who frequented the restaurant really often. Me and my buddy, former alderman Frank Stemberk would spend hours looking at his pictures on the wall. But I digress. This frozen pie is as good, and as authentic as what I’m used to getting fresh on 31st. Street.
