We are on our 2nd set of winter tires on both vehicles and will always buy Michelin tires winter and summer. The last set of winters we bought lasted 10 seasons and we’re amazing with lots of grip up to the last kilometre and we drive a lot. Bought new ones last year for the truck and we were the only ones to get out of our street when there was 50 cm of snow.

I didn't drive on these much yet, and haven't been out in snow with them yet either, but from what I did drive on these tires, they are SUPER QUIET and ride excellently! Aggressive-tread snow tires are notoriously LOUD. These aren't. I definitely lean towards "quiet comfort" when it comes to snow tires, since 90%-95% of the time I'm driving on them, the roads are clear or only just wet. Yes, a snow tire's true function is getting much better grip in slippery conditions (vs. a standard all-season tire). This tire's tread pattern appears to optimize icey-road grip performance more than deep snow grip, which I'm fine with. Tire grip in snow usually isn't the issue. The most difficult grip conditions are icey roads, which was the condition I was attempting to optimize with this tire purchase. With the amount of tread and siping maximized with this tire design, looks like I'll have that. I purchased a prior model X-Ice snow tire 8 years ago and have had very good ice grip with those tires. I am expecting more of the same (and even slightly better) with these newer tires!

I bought these tires last winter when we already had snow and bad weather. I noticed the different right away. I was sliding alot less around town and felt more comfortable on the road. Unfortunately I got a got new vehicle and the size I bought won't fit it. But I do plan on buying the same ones again for my new car.

We purchased these tires and they work great in snow storms, better than most on black ice and keep us clinging to the roads throughout the months of bad weather we experience. We will continue to purchase these tires as long as we face winter driving!

Had these installed on a ford mustang GT and used last winter. Nice ride and quiet for snow tires even on dry pavement. Most importantly provided excellent grip in all conditions. Can speak on durability as it has only. Even one winter but seems like they will hold up well. Money well spent.

I trust Michelin to perform on and off the road during the worse winter conditions. I use my 2016 Range Rover HSE Sport in the worst winter conditions, and also do a lot of off roading for ice fishing and hunting camp in the woods. When there is no plowed roads, these get the job done and have never failed to perform even in the deepest snow and through streams which land rover can easily pass through. I chose the Michelin X-ICE 255-55-R20 for its aggressive and wide foot print to conquer the worst snow that winter can through at us in Canadian winters.

Had no problems with slippages or sliding or anything like that during the winter, but it still means you need to drive carefully! I only had one slide when someone braked suddenly in front of me with lots of room ahead of him in moving traffic. barely avoided an accident.

As someone who has used the X-Ice line in the past, but felt that on-center feel was lacking, the new version is a revelation. Snow tires are certainly not intended to allow drivers to centrifuge their passengers like a dedicated summer tire will, but these do surprisingly well. Extremely impressed with these on my rear drive BMW wagon.

I have bought several sets of Michelin X-Ice snow tires over the years, they are definitely my winter tire of choice. I feel 100% safe driving in all winds and weather during our winter season with these amazing tires. It is a tire you can trust to get you where you are going. Love my Michelin X-Ice!

I have purchased Michelin Winter Tires for over a decade now. I have run X-Ice and X-Ice2 in the past on our Ford Focus and currently run Michelin Latitude X-Ice on our large SUV. After reviewing what was available we chose the Michelin X-Ice Snow SUV for our new small SUV. The grip on ice and in deep snow is excellent. Probably the best version of the X-Ice tires we have bought to date.
