- 4 out of 5 stars review8/5/2016I agree with a previous reviewer. These tires made a huge difference on my car years ago. But I just put the Primacy on my SUV and I getting lower gas mileage. Where I drive and how I drive hasn't changed. Only the tires. I enjoy the comfort of these tires but the price wasn't worth lower mileage.
Disappointed
RodOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/12/2026Great tires, the only brand I have used on my 2 cars, a Jaguar and a Lincoln. They are the best all weather tires. Traction and wear are excellent.
Best overall tires available on the market
DMMOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review4/27/2026Purchased 4 new tires on 04/23/2026, but you sent tires made in 43/2024..( re: DOT) That means the tires are almost two years old.
very good tires.

The ride is nice but you just have to like to buy tires.
Nice Ride--Poor Wear
SteveOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/16/2017I use these on primarily on two different routes. 1) Commuted about twice each week going through often damp forest paved roads through central Florida about 112 miles each way going roughly 60 mph, and; 2) Commuted about 50 miles on interstates averaging about 75 mph. I drive a 2014 Ford Taurus with the Michelin Primacy MXM4 245/45R20 99V tires. To date, I have 5/32 tread depth remaining with 60,000 miles on the original set of these OEM tires. I rotate the tires with each oil change. When worn, the same tire type will exchange them. They've handled flawlessly, no issues. Great stopping and handling without road noise.
Great Tire
BenOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/8/2017These tires came new on my 2014 Cadillac Performance Model sedan with the 3.6L engine. They have been quiet and handle extremely well as this car has an awesome chassis and these tires don't hinder performance. I just bought another set of MXM4s after 33,000 miles. I probably could have gotten several thousand more miles but I will be selling this car and I wanted to buyer to experience what fine tires these are and what a great car this Cadillac ATS is. I will be buying a new Corvette Z06 which comes with Michelin tires (very pleased) hope it comes with Michelin's Pilot PS4. My other Cadillac an SRX Premium has 20" Michelin Premiers *****
Michelin Primacy tires exceeded expectations
mjdartOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 2 out of 5 stars review4/12/2017I purchased a 2012 Infiniti M37X and these tires (245/50R18 ) came with them. I'm shocked to have only gotten 44,000 miles since I take the train every day to work and only use the vehicle during the weekends. The front two tires are completely shot but the rear two look a whole lot better.
Only 44,000 on these tires.
BellaOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review7/27/2022These tires came with my 2018 Tesla Model 3 LR RWD and have been pretty good overall, but they didn't last. For the performance of the car (mid-low tier by Tesla standards), they held up pretty well as far as traction in the warm dry and wet. Even at very low tread (seen in pictures), they gripped a steep, rain-socked driveway all the way up with no problems. Tire rotations at 10k miles FEB2020 and 18k miles NOV2021. By service logs, treadwear was 6/32" at 13.5k miles and 2/32" at 19k miles. I ran them longer since I was surprised it was already time to change the tires that are rated for 45k miles! They finally started to feel a little off when changing lanes on the highway, probably due to going bald at 28k miles. Like many others, I am d...
Good but didn't last

We will be in touch... - 1 out of 5 stars review8/20/2017They came with the Lexus and that was part of the overall buying decision as we've preferred this brand for decades. These were always a bit noisier than what we've been used to, but just after hitting 32,000 it felt like we were riding in a tank. The road noise is unbelievably loud and the handling has gone to pot. I expected to get 45-55k from these tires. Has Michelin quality dropped? Looks like we'll have to research other brands as our trust in Michelin quality and longevity has seveerly faded.
Very disappointed in these tires
SteveOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review8/9/2017Bought the M37 in 2015 with 6000 miles one it. Now has 45,000. Front tires have at least 5,000 miles left. Rear tires are worn more. NEVER rotated them but wear was even. (no excuse). Must admit they were getting noisy. Researched other tires weighing ride. noise, handling, wear. After one of the back tires began to lose air pressure I decided to replace them and decided to stay with the MXM4. I'm fairly certain I could have got 50,000 out of the tires but I was satisfied considering this is an all-wheel drive car at 330HP and my heavy foot. New set is much quieter than the original set. Fingers crossed.
Bought second set for Infiniti M37x
JimOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/19/2017I had vibration problems with my 2016 Nissan Maxima. I finally installed the Primacy MXM4's and it has transformed the vehicle. These tires ride very quietly and very smoothly, and all the vibrations are gone. This should be standard equipment on the Maxima. If you are considering either the Primacy MXM4 or the Premier A/S, choose the MXM4. It is a quieter and smoother riding tire.than the Premier A/S, and handles and brakes extremely well.
Phenomenal Tire
Maxima35Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/10/2017Came standard on my 2013 Honda Accord v6. They made the car look very sporty. I have a rough commute on NJ highways and I am happy to say I got 73000 miles on this set of tires. I am replacing these with another set of Michelins tomorrow. Hoping to have the same great experience :)
Loved Them
RobOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review4/26/2018When initially installed I was pleased with the ride, noise levels and ability to grip the wet roads but am disappointed with how quickly they wore down. For a tire that's rated at 90000 km thread wear I got 42000. I use studded winter tires so these aren't driven on during the winter months. I'm very disappointed with this series of tire. I have been buying Michelin since the 1990's, not happy with thread wear on this one.
Wears out too fast
DBOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review4/10/2026Tires only lasted 35,000 of 55,000 warranted miles.
OK but didn't last the warranted period.

Durability and traction
cdOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/15/2013I bought these Michelin tires for my 07 Mazda Speed6. I wanted an all season tire that would wear well however still perform good under spirited driving. The Mazda is all-wheel-drive and goes through tires quickly but the Michelins seem to be holding up great. I've had the tires for a few months now and have driven almost 10k miles. So far the tires have performed excellent in all weather conditions, from snow to rain to hot weather and are showing little wear. They offer great traction. The tires are also quiet and offer a smooth comfortable ride. I'm very pleased with these tires so far!
Will definitely buy again
eyster1Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/14/2015OEM tire on 2013 Honda Accord Sport Sedan. Can think of nothing bad to say about this tire. Confident handling in all conditions during two years of all season driving in MI & OH. Never felt timid in rainy or snowy conditions, and I drive somewhat aggressively. Tread wear was excellent as well, having just replaced them after 70,000 miles (3/32" left). Rotated about every 12,000 miles in-line with oil changes. Needless to say, I replace them with a carbon copy.
Great Tire Deserving of Premium Price
feeschOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/13/2013I have driven on these tires for 9 months now and they still look new. Ride comfort, quietness, and response are the best I have had in any car. These replaced the OEM tires Cadillac puts on the DTS Sport -- the old tires left a lot to desire. The Primacy MXM4 low profile tires enhance my car's appearance, ride and performance. I will buy these tires exclusively for as long as I own this vehicle. Typically, I drive a car until the wheels fall off. We hold onto our vehicles into the 18+ year range so ride comfort is important to me.
