From the moment they were installed, the ride quality was noticeably smoother and quieter than anything I’ve run before. Highway driving is exceptionally stable and comfortable, even on long trips, and road noise is minimal. Wet traction is excellent and they inspire confidence in changing conditions. Steering feels solid and predictable, and the overall ride has a very “OEM-plus” feel — refined, controlled, and comfortable. These tires truly shine for highway miles and daily driving. I replaced my original Bridgestone Dueler tires om my 21 Ford Ranger with these as I had two sets on a previous F150. They are so good in rain, and moderate snow that I sometimes don't even use four wheel drive until hitting the deep unloved areas . They are quieter and grip quite well even in heavy rain storms ! My third set, so plenty of confidence in handling and treadlife .

I have purchased 6 sets of Michelin LTX MS tires, the last 3 sets are the newer Defender LTX MS2 version. I have no complaints with ride quality or performance, but the new versions have no had the same tread wear longevity, and the last 2 sets are much louder than they used to be. I first noticed it 6 months ago replacing a different brand with Michelins on an FJ Cruiser, but confirmed when replacing older MS2s with new ones today. Tire noise appeared instantly after install. Frequency and volume both become obvious approaching 50mph and after. Very disappointing change from what were the best tires I’ve ever had in 50 years. Not sure I can live with these.

I have always been a Michelin fan, especially of the LTXMX2 tires. Bought a new GMC SIERRA SLT X31 in June 2025, took off the Bridgestones dueler tires from factory. put on the newest version of the Defender ms2 tires, and they ride the same but I will say they do not handle snow very well. The outside tread no longer has the same sipe as the past tires. They still make the LTX JX2 tires but not in 20 inch options, they need to bring these back. If not I will have to ex-ore another brand.

Tires ride really good. I have had 1 tires that Oh my goes low on me & am taking back to get checked out. Otherwise tires are good.

Replaced stock Jeep Gladiator tires with a set of Defenders. 100% quieter on highway - my main usage. Great wet traction.

This are the best tires ever super comfortable, the traction is another level and endless durability.

I had the same Michelin tire on for 40K miles. I was ready for a new set although the old ones only showed slight wear. Michelin is the only brand I will used.
