Quiet, efficient, good looking tires mostly for on-road service. Comfortable on the od good grip and low noise. Thread is strong and long lasting. However, shoulders are fragile and easy to puncture (non repairable) or get bumps. That's why I'd suggest to stick to the paved roads only.

Sam’s didn’t have the tires I wanted in stock, so they ordered them. They came in earlier than expected, which was great. The technician that did the work was very courteous and was done in a prompt manner. As far as the tires go, the vehicle handles nice and the tires have a very smooth ride.

cant be roadforce balanced....these tires are a HUGE problem....dedicated Michelin consumer...DO NOT BUY in the 20" rim size.The sidewalls are weak and the tires can not be balanced.At 74 mph the vibration is terrible. These tires should be discontinued . I have taken these to my dealership after Sams balanced them...One tire was out of balance specs...a roadforce balance was performed and two of the tires cant be balanced within tolerance. BE AWARE ! SO dissapointed with them I'm going to buy a different brand and gift these to my dad to put on his farm truck. I'm a dedicated Michelin buyer -my whole life but these tires are junkers

bought the tires as a replacement for my 2019 Toyota? Tundra, 4 wheel drive tires are fantastic in the snow. Tires are very smooth. I used a decimal meter to compare the noise level with the previous set of tires. I had and they are quiet as a mouse plan to enjoy these tires for the next eighty thousand miles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2 are great tires for modem pickup trucks & full size SUVS. I own a Chevrolet Suburban LT and this tires fit them perfectly, I can feel the difference while I'm driving if how these tires work on any terrain, specially on rainy days. The material is thick and the tires look powerful. I recommend them if you have a large truck!

I purchased these tires after 6 years and 30k miles on my Michelin Defender LTX M/S. I was a little leery with the UTQG Traction rating dropping to B from the previous A but with tread life listed similarly and great previous performance, I gave them a shot. I've driven 2,500 miles before posting the review. The M/S2 are fantastic on dry pavement and dissipate water very well. Unfortunately, around 35 F they become noticeably harder and break free much easier on cold or wet pavement compared to the previous M/S. With that, my initial assumption is that they have worse performance but herein lies the paradox. While they don't seem great getting moving and break free easy on acceleration, they seem hold true and stop well once in motion. Snow performance is similar to the aforementioned, but again cornering is fairly steady until acceleration is applied. The truck will still go where it's intended, but with considerably more wheel spin than the previous M/S in 2H. MPG appears to be comparable between the 113T SL M/S and 117T XL M/S2. Both ride quiet and have good feel when braking. They have a good look but not overly aggressive and don't pick up too many rocks. I would 100% recommend these for those who rarely experience snow or cold but would probably stick to swapping these out for Michelin Ice X for the cooler or snow filled months or plan to use full time AWD and the possibility of reduced tread life due to the additional slipping.

2018 4Runner do not buy these tires if you are looking for curb appeal. These tires are as plain jane, no cool factor or attitude at all. But they are quiet, smooth & responsive. I have driven in mud snow rain, no problem. I would say overall this tire checks 99.9% of what you want out of a tire. The toyota avalon of tires lol not pretty buy super solid

Even though I just installed them and can't give you mileage or longevity yet, I am impressed with these tires. I have used them for 1 month and we have seen heavy rain, no hydroplaning, snow and ice storms, no slippage and mainly ground grip on hilly descents. They have behaved quite well in the elements. They also run very smooth and quiet, and I feel like my vehicle handles quite well with these tires. I drive frequently so it's only been 1 month but I've already put about 1000 miles on them and have no complaints. I'll add it to my review when I've gotten a little more use out of them and update their performance at that time. So far, so good. If you are looking for a good set, I tell you not to be indecisive, play it safe with Michelin tires, buy these. I am convinced that these tires will prove their worth for a long time... and I will buy again if/when necessary...! There are many tires, many cheaper, but the quality and price of a good tire, you can't go wrong.

These are not winter tires, these are not meant to replace winter tires BUT if you are like me and rock all seasons all year long- these are the tires you're looking for. This past winter (in a pickup truck) I was able to slowly crawl down a slippery mountain road, I passed by over a dozen cars pulled over, 3 accidents, and watched someone lose control and graze the guardrail. I drove slowly and with extreme caution- but these tires never slipped once.

We recently replaced the OEM tires that came on our 2020 F150 with Michelin's defender ltx m/s 2's. I was looking for a tire that did everything well with emphasis on performance in snow and on slick roads while being comfortable and QUIET. Literally everyone I spoke to and everything I read about these tires talked about how quiet and comfortable they were. Our truck currently has between 50 and 60 thousand miles on it and we have less than 2,000 miles on the Defender's, I can say without hesitation these tires are not as quiet as what we took off. If I had it to do over I would put the OEM tires back on.
